Sherry, let me start by saying thank you for taking the time to explain everything and making an effort to make things right. I'll get back to you in PM shortly. I was hoping it was something like that and not just shady business.

As I had mentioned earlier in this post I do know people personally who have ordered from the gorilla and have had wonderful experiences. It was quite disappointing when things started to go downhill with my order after hearing so many good things. The thing that irritates me the most is the way things were handled after it was discovered something was wrong. If someone had sent me an email with even half of what you explained I would have been more than satisfied and patient. Stuff happens, no big deal that moneygram is the source of the issues. Instead I received two replies, almost identical to each other, that simply stated my number was not valid and to check it again. I'm not sure how long the problem with moneygram has been apparent but some sort of explanation should have been provided even if the exact problem wasn't known.

The fact that you came on here to assist me with this does get the gorilla some brownie points with me. I currently have seeds but I may consider ordering from the gorilla again next time. Thanks!
 
Alibongo is a cool site, but I haven't compared all their features to ours.

Right now, I'm using Barney's Farm CBD Blue Shark for quick price comparisons (because it's new & almost everyone sells Barney's Farm) and see that their price on a 5-pack is 32.99 gbp & ours is 26.99 gbp, so maybe they're making up for free shipping with the price of the seeds.

Plus, you can almost always find a way to get extra discounts from us.

Either way, you should order from where you're most comfortable - that's the great thing about the wide variety of seed banks out there today.

Again, I'm really not here to give you guys the hard sell on Gorilla Seeds - just trying to make up for a problem on our end with OP - but I'll be happy to answer any questions anyone has.

Well, MoneyGram aside, they run into problems now & then when more emails come in than they can answer in the promised 24 hours. So, they decided to speed thing up by creating some canned responses & automatic emails to let people know their email hasn't went into some kind of back hole.

That has kind of turned into a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" kind of thing. People want a fast response, but the responses aren't all that user friendly. I'm reviewing those now to see where I can fix things so that it's a little better.

As for the moneygram responses when we couldn't pick them up, and for Western Union now, the problem is that all they will tell us is that the information doesn't match what's in their system. We don't know if it's because the customer has a typo in what they told us - or if the information we have is correct but the money just hasn't made it to the UK yet. So, they keep telling the customer that the information is incorrect, please recheck & reenter. That would drive me f'ing nuts if I was ordering seeds, so it's on my list of things to get them to change.

For anyone who is interested in ordering from us in the future, we have put up bitcoin payments. We're giving a 20% discount for this payment method right now plus entry into a 20-seed giveaway. Payment application is quick because I personally check several times a day, 7 days a week. Unless my Internet goes south, you should never have to wait long on this method.

And, I've found a site called Transferwise that will let you do a bank transfer from the US to the UK for $3 rather than the $40 to 50 most banks are charging. In my test, it took 48 business hours, but they say to give it 5 days. We even have a link that will give you your first transfer for free - or that's what the said on their site. We're not affiliated with them - just trying to find better ways for people to pay.

If the banking industry would loosen up, we'd be happy to offer card payments - it would make everyone's life easier.

I have a PM from the OP - and in case you're curious, I'm going to let him pick a 5 pack of whatever seeds he would like from our site to make up for the whole MoneyGram fiasco.

I placed an order on the 26th may and payment didn't go through through, called them up and paid over phone. Payment was taken but yet to hear anything tried calling them about 30 times no answer and emailed with no reply. Not impressed so far won't be going back.

That might help but gsb doesn't seem to be doing themselves any favors if they can't offer good customer service.

Right a little update gavin got in contact with me and a few emails sent back and forth with details of order and what's happened. Seems to have been sorted which is great will update on when they arrive. Its helped that it's been sorted may have to give them another go to see what it's like next time round.
