New Grower Gorilla Glue Autos in a 4x4 tent. New grower. Advice welcomed.

I'm no expert but both pictures look like pretty happy seedlings.
In my experience seedlings can sometimes look a bit weird but they tend to grow out of it quickly.
Keep it up

Thanks for contributing NUGZ. Ive been trying to pamper these little ladies to the best of my ability.

You can use neem as a soil drench as well, just a heads up! You don't want to use it late in flower as it can affect the taste of your buds, but early on its not too big of a deal. Thankfully the gnats are more of an annoyance than anything (though the larvae can cause issues by root monching). They're a really common problem though, so if you search fungas gnats on here you should be able to find lots of good methods of dealing with them!

And i will add a cautionary note here. :rolleyes1:.. bahhh hum bug hairy :crying:you can over pamper them  keep it simple is always true :cool1: and easy way to get results :toke:
Yep! I know I'm my own worst enemy with overloving the girls. In the process of learning KISS and LITFA to try and get past that

How often would it be okay to soil dress with neem oil? Originally I was planning on only doing it once a week to prevent pests, but since i already have a small infestation should I do it more often?
I also have some Diatomaceous Earth I was going to add to the soil in between the days i dont add neem oil. I believe i read that its okay to add to the soil.

Haha happy holidays hairy! Thanks for the tip hairy. I’m just being a worry bug lol.

The only problem with the DE is that it takes forever to break down and it will not only take out the gnats but also any helpful critters in your soil who have exoskeletons

Okay, i’ll only soil dress with neem oil then. I’ll leave the DE for the perimeter of the tent.

Your best bet would probably be mosquito bits/dunks and the yellow sticky traps (bright yellow cardstock with Vaseline work just as well). I wouldn't go super crazy with the neem for sure, but it'll work. By far though beneficial nematodes are the best option, though some people are kinda eeked out about the idea of releasing bugs in their house.

I have two sticky traps out already. Haven’t caught any on them yet. They seem to like the soil. I have to look into the bits/dunks
I dont think my girlfriend would appreciate purposely releasing insects in the house lol. I wanted to keep some ladybugs, but not happening lol.

Wanted to give you an update on my VPD

I decided to get as many things wifi capable that i could so i could manage while i’m not home, and without entering the tent. I think thats been helping a lot.

@ItzSticky If it is 350 PPM Hanna that is too high if it is 0.350 EC that = 175 PPM Hanna. Make sure we are on the same scale here?

For sure you have chloramines you are looking for ascorbic acid - vitamin C. The store brand is usually the cheapest without other stuff added in. 50mg per gallon will treat water with 3.8 PPM of chloramines. I do not know how efficient those filters are.

Im honestly not sure if my meter is measuring PPM Hanna or the other two measurements.
But i can switch it to EC, so thats how i’ll start measuring it.

Whats the ideal EC?

To my knowledge its not very important at the seedling stage, as they dont need much nutrients so I stopped measuring.

Could you go over this please?
