takes about a week, yeah you can do it but its a high stress technique so be gentle haha

A week to finish I thought flowering takes 9weeks or more

So trim slowly like a little each day

haha no, dont trim to much at once because that can affect your yield. maximum is 1/3 of the plant as a good indicator.
it takes about a week maybe 2 before you see pre flowering if it is a photoperiod. ..

flowering can take up from 7 till 14 weeks with photoperiods
