ok just got back from vacation and ordered my seeds. Only got 4 for right now. Got 2 Mi5's from short stuff 1 Onyx from short stuff and a Big Bang Automatic from GreenHouse. Gonna be painting the inside of my box tomorrow and getting my hps tuesday. I will also be getting a few other things like pots and soil everyday until the seeds come. But i have 2 questions. since i'm only starting four what size pots would be good for my 2x2 area.2 gallon? and also im planning on putting them umder 4 26w 6500k cfl's until they show sex.will that be enough light to last them the 2 or 3 weeks?

2 gallon is ok. Since you're only running four you should be ok. I saw your post about the windshield reflectors..I'm not sure how efficient they are but they would help. All your trying to do is maximize your light coverage. Whatever you use other than paint needs to be stretched and pinned tightly. Good luck on your grow.

thanks alot!

another quick question. I was told to mix 1/3 coco in with the ffof soil for better drainage. is this coco stuff come in a block? and if so what do i do just break it off and mix it in with the soil? sorry if im sounding to needy with the questions i just want to make sure im spending my money on the right sutff.

Depends on what kind your hydro store has. As some coco comes already expanded, some comes in dry compressed bricks that need to be soaked to expand.

so if i have to soak them and they expand do i just break whatever i need off it and mix with the soil

You'll figure it out once you get it. It expands to an almost soil like texture.

hey all! back again with another question. I've been doing some research and came across the hempy bucket style of growing. I know i said i was going to grow in soil but would this be an easier way of growing? I've read alot of good reviews about it and now im thinking this might be the way i go. get 4 2 gallon buckets and use the 75/25 mix perlite and verm. Does this sound like a good growing method to use with autos? any info will be helpful i only have a couple days to make my final decision

also what would be the best way to start the seeds? using a party cup size then transplanting into my final bucket? or using the rockwool cubes or rapid rooters and wait till the roots are coming out the bottom then transplanting into my bucket? pretty much got the most of it figured out execpt how to start the seeds because its said the hempy method is better when using clones
