Going photo to auto for first time.

O this is great. I just looked at the plant and out of the middle of some of the buds I see smooth edged kinda twisted leafs. Its back it veg now. Will give it about a week tell I take a picture because things are small and not worth taking a picture of now. I now have to wait and see what the now growth is lacking in nutes because I let the plant get a little deficient before harvest and it is allsorts of colors. Still looking like it might be low on nitrogen so will probably be feeding some Fox farm grow big in the next week or so.

Hi joe
i am in to enjoy your project happy growing and breeding.

The plant was being slow to re veg so I put it in my grow room with my autos near the 600W but still off to the side. It is outside the closet and only half the plant is getting light but it is enough. It will reach in the closet and get what it needs. The CFL just was not doing it. Still going to be a while tell I can clone it. If I would have cut the roots and gave it some new soil it might have helped it a little. Hey who knows I might grow this strain out for smoke after my auto harvest using a clone from it. It should be plenty ready by then. I am hoping my network of grower around me can keep the strain alive and passing around so if I loose it later. I cant wait tell there is enough new growth to strip all the old off. I cant tell as of yet what to feed the plant as the old growth is showing signs of N toxic, P def and maybe K def. When there is sufficient new growth I will correct any problems but will keep it a little low on N to ready it for being cloned.

So not too sound dumb, but clones are still a bit new to me. Why would you want to lower the N levels? I know the old growth show toxicity, but would the new growth for clones need low N?

I believe a normal level is ok but a little low is good because you want the cutting to be focusing on new roots and not plant growth.

All the deficiencies the plant is showing are old deficiencies and the old leafs are not a good tool any more. I have fed the plant lightly but the old leafs will show a little bit of deficiency even if it is not there. I have to wait tell there is enough new growth to read what the plant needs now. I have fed both with veg, bloom and cal/mag around the time I cut the plant back. My hand was in a cast when I decided to re veg so I could not do it proper. Normally you take the plant out of the pot, cut off half the root ball, fill your pot 1/2 full with new soil and repot your plant. It would be farther along if I would have done it proper. If your being that I am cloning the plant it is not super important to me but if you were trying to get a second harvest out of the plant it would be a lot more important.

So here is my mother photo plant that I re vegged. I have fed some powered nutrients called sea blast I got from a friend and scratched the surface with about 1 table spoon full but found out I had no water on hand so have not watered it in yet. It is not in good light and will be going under my 250 CFL in a few days again. Will probably clone in about 1 month. I am trying to start some F1 seeds again tonight so we will see how that goes. They have been in the refrigerator for a few days now.

Oh, and this make perfect sense too, thanks for the answer.

Here is my mother plant I put back in to re veg. I have my closet door open about the width of the pot and the plant mostly out side the closet. I am surprised how full it is with how little light it has had. I have fed it minimal amounts of nutrients. I might pull some clones tonight from it. If I wanted I could feed a mix of veg and bloom as it is just slightly low on nitrogen and put it back in to bloom and probably pull 2 or 3 ounces from it but I am going to probably just clone it and toss it after the clones root.
