As Tdam reminded me in another thread, I forgot to post final pics of the WWs.. I've even thrown in a picture of the dabs I made from the trim from the WWs and the AKR.. I had about 1.5oz of excellent trim and popcorn buds.. I haven't tried it yet because I want to get one of those vapor bongs I keep seeing people use.. My cousin gave me a titanium insert for one, and said it's the most expensive part.. I'd say there's probably about 2g of the oil and it's THICK..

I finished with 89.5g of the WW between the 2 plants.. I gave a friend about 10g for helping the gf and I move, and I smoked about a quarter with another couple friends for the holidays.. There's 28.9g of WW#2 left in the jar to cure, 15.6g of WW#1, 7.8g of the AKR (which has been in the jar since Oct and is starting to STIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINK through the glass!!), and I've got about 10g of stash that I've been going through slowly because of the Arizer..


I still want to know how to vape dabs with my Arizer.. There has to be a way!!!

I wondered why I never saw harvest pics ! Thought you had to tear it down early. That's a damned fine stash for a young guy that probably needs to have a clear head now and then ... I've seen times when riches like that would last me a year or two ... That oil looks deadly ... have you checked F*ckcombustion.com for the info on the dabs ...

Chester: Unfortunately, I did have to take her down early, and if I had it my way, I would have gone another 2 full weeks with her on nutes and then flushed for a couple days because I started getting more white pistils and a little bit of foxtailing on WW#1.. I could just tell they wanted to plump up a little more, but hey, I got a good amount, so I can't complain!!!! Honestly, since you'd turned me onto the Arizer, I haven't looked back!! I only use MAAAAYBE a 1/3rd of what I used to and get a better high, no coughing and I can breathe better!!!! I smoke a bowl here and there while the Arizer is charging, and I'm seriously considering trying to somehow get a Silver Surfer, or an "at home" vape because the bud tastes terrible now when I smoke it anytime after I had a vape!! In fact, I have to go a couple days without any consumption, before I can taste the bud in a bowl.. Otherwise, it just tastes like cigarettes, which sucks because I quit those a while ago (April 7th, 2008).. Probably the best thing I ever did for myself.. I smoked 2 packs a day for a few years before I quit, and honestly can't understand why I smoked for 14 years!!!


I've been on FC a couple times, but I honestly didn't know if there was a different name for the water bongs that hold the metal insert for vaping dabs?? I always thought it was a "vapor bong" or something like that.. I saw a few attachments for the Arizer that look sick, like the water-bong attachment and a couple speed-pipes..

It feels pretty damn good to finally be able to do this on my own, but I seriously couldn't have done it without guys like you, Chester, pop and a few others who have eased my mind with their knowledge and wisdom.. If things ever get settled down, and shit is legalized fully, I'll be inviting some of you guys over so we can have some serious sessions!!

Hey man, awesome harvest!!! Looking great too... niiiiice looking oil... what method did you use to extract it?

I have tried dabs quite a few diff ways, and the best way is on the titanium nail like your friend gifted you IMO.
But you also need a rig (pipe or whatever), AND a butane torch AND butane x_x....

It is by far the best tasting dabs you can do off the titanium nail, but it is pretty involved to get it all going...


The way I like to do it on the cheap and easy is with an e cig battery and a "glass globe" attachment. Some head shops sell them but they are way over priced usually. Order them online for dirt cheap and they fit an e cig battery.

They work a lot better than the micro G pens unless you have a liquidy extract.

Wax and stuff like that though in my experience sucks in those g pens... The glass globe is easier to load, you can see what's happening inside and and hella cheap, especially if you already have an E cig battery around. I would def be interested if you found a way to use a dry herb vape for oil though... I have wondered about using the pax like that as well.

Well hey hey hey!!! Digging this up from the dead.............. I'm back!!! It's a great feeling but I'm not gonna lie, I'm kinda nervous about starting up again.. I still have all of my notes and pictures, but it's been over a year since I've dropped seeds.. Time to shake off the dust and get going!!


I'll be taking pictures later today, as I got my tent set back up but am working new configurations because I picked up a UFO from Craigslist, and I am looking to pick up a 2nd tent.. I may end up doing a T5/HPS tent, just to try it.. I've got more room now, and I wish I was able to convert the whole room where I'm at now, but the wife and I don't own the place..


I just dropped some Zambeza Auto Jack Herer seeds yesterday.. Going to be doing the recirculating top-feed, again.

So in true fashion, I sorta slacked on the start of this, mostly because there wasn't much action or movement from the plants. I'll spare you guys the pictures of my disaster area of a room that the tent is in right now.. I've got a lot going on, and I'm hoping to tie up loose ends here so I can actually say that I'm fully operational.. Here are a couple pictures of the Jacks that I dropped.. I originally was only going to drop 2; 1 popped, the other didn't. Not wanting a gap of a week or more with the plants, I decided to drop the remaining 3 seeds on the paper towel and voila!! 4 little guys, poised to become champions..

The set-up as it sits right now:

3ft x 2ft x 5.5ft tent
recirculating top-feed set at 15min, once a day (not yet, still hand feeding)
GH Nutes with a few Botanicare supps and a couple surprises
Rockwool
KingLED 800w LED (should be here any day now)
UFO 90w
Hopes and dreams

As anxious and as scatter-brained as I feel right now, at least this isn't me a couple years ago, just starting out. I know what I need to do, the rest is just patience..

So I just got back from a week of travel.. The days before I left, I rushed to get my tent together.. I got my new light and it's definitely bright, but not quite as bright as I expected it, or as advertised.. I've got a few ideas that I'm throwing around, but my recirculating systems seems to be working well!! I did some nice tidying of the lines, and tried to make it look sorta-organized. Cable management is my next concern, although it's not absolutely necessary.. I'm running into a few small snags..

1. The environment is a bit different than what I had grown in before.. Instead of a nice, climate-controlled bedroom, it's not in the basement of a house. Basement has some heat, but not a lot, and the humidity is super-low this time of year, even in the basement.. Because I was having trouble keeping the temps above the low 60's, I threw a couple CFLs in there for their heat, and extra lighting.. I was hoping the KingLED 800w was going to be a sort of, "knock my socks off" experience, it seems only mildly brighter than my MarsII 400w. I may take the UFO out, and put the MarsII back in to get a more intense, and even spread of light.. It's definitely clear the spectrums are a little different between the lights, but I think between that and the CFLs, I can generate a significant amount of lumens and coverage..

2. I'm not sure if I'm over-doing the nutes, if the pH is shifting or what.. My pH pen is not keeping it's calibration, primarily because I didn't store it right for that year.. I had put fluid in it, but I should have kept it in a building, instead of in storage.. I ordered a 24/7 meter and it should be here Monday.. I think between that, and the fact that I didn't keep any feeding schedules on the these the last time I grew them.. I do remember them being very finnicky with the nutes.. Currently, the reservoir is at ~90-ish ppms, which I admit might be kinda high, but these things are on week 3.. I suspect the cooler temps are retarding the growth a bit, so I think adding another CFL and the MarsII might generate a little more warmth.

As you can see by the pictures, there are some issues with some of the older growth, while the newer growth looks nice and green.. Until I can get a reliable pH reading, I'm sorta stuck.. I am going to try my best to get it to at least pH on Monday with the new meter, and do a healthy res. change on Friday, before I have to leave.. Thankfully, this will be the last travel for a while, so if I can zero in on the ppm, hopefully the pH shifts will subside..
