Lighting Gloom's first... everything. DWC LED.

Hey Gloom!

Awesome grow, dude!

Ok my "My 2 cents" too...

It's always good to know the ppm value per gal or liter of each item in your line up so everything is easier to calculate and track. The baseline EC/ppm (and pH) of your water each time you add back should also be checked and noted. My well can vary from low 200's into 400's, depending on how much rain we've had (or NOT had!). There will always be some variance in the water unless you have a home RO. Still working on that? Me too! I got empty gallon jugs everywhere! Take a baseline measurement of each product in your lineup and make a cheat sheet if necessary. I know that some items I use of the GH line have a ppm per L/G on the label, which is helpful. It always helps to know exactly how much of what is going where!

Interestingly enough...When i went to check on the girls just now...The total EC reading in all of my buckets has dropped by 0.1, except in the bucket of the biggest think different, where it has remained the same. at 2.0 total (0.8 background), not sure what to make of that. If it was all the buckets or if the biggest one was a lower value than the other 4 i would assume they are eating the nutes, but i guess the nutes just ate themselves or balanced out or something i dunno. EC's are definately in acceptable ranges and the plants are thriving...so i guess the super dose of Silicon aint gonna kill them.

0.2-0.3 increase in PH over 24 hours too., adjusted the PH back to 5.7 in all buckets.

Photos later...got visitors atm.

Day 18.

Peeking under think different #1

Got out my tape measure and my LED's were only 40cm from the top of the plants, I raised it back up to 50cm because the footprint increases a bit when its higher and they are growing awesome from 50cm anyways. When its a bit lower the plants at one end get a bit dark when the light mover is up the other end, now they're all getting light at all times it just increases and decreases in intensity...like clouds going over or something i guess. Sometime soon i will move some buckets around and fire up the second LED, and probably even turn the light mover off until they bush out past the footprint.

Day 19. Seem to be stretching a little now. Bit more vertical growth and more air getting under the canopy.

they look a bit underfed bud ? maybe your EC1.6 was closer the mark ! ...check to see if it goes up or down & you know if your under or over feeding :peace:

Total EC yesterday was 1.9, total EC today 1.9 (0.8 background). I think they've come out more yellowed in the photos than they actually are, but i have 15 litres of the original rez mix bubbling away for a mid week boost anyways. Still waiting for the plants to actually tell me what they want...maybe i need a better EC meter lol...every time i calibrate it its still bang on though.

Decided today was the day to kick it up a notch. Time to move the buckets around fire up the second Mars II 900W LED. I also spent half an hour with some string and duct tape spreading the ladies around a little.

Decided today was the day to kick it up a notch. Time to move the buckets around fire up the second Mars II 900W LED. I also spent half an hour with some string and duct tape spreading the ladies around a little. I'm a bit of a noob still, but should i be seeing sex by now? I must admit i haven't really gone through them with a fine tooth comb, i see calyx's but yet to see any hairs.

Ordered me a cheap reverse osmosis unit and a hailea hc 150a water chiller today.

Day 22 update, missed day 21.
Carbon filter came in the mail, and installed. Phresh 250mm by 500mm. Growth is pretty explosive at the moment. PH and EC is pretty stable...Not much movement at all. Lots of tying down branches/ LST.
