So my seeds haven't arrived yet. But I did snag 3 bags of insulation from a job site yesterday. And insulated the roof above my grow room. It wasn't even a hot day yesterday but damn it was a hot job.

I also grabbed a piece of flat metal strap and a couple lengths of wood. I plan on taking the ceiling pole out of my tent and moulding the strap around it screwing it on there to give me a flat surface to mount my light mover rail.

Bit of a busy day for me today, sorting out my light mover. I found 2 lengths of wood to mount the light mover onto, and then mount it onto the tent pole. Decided i'd just put a length of wood in the middle and that should be strong enough. I was wrong. With only one of my LED's hanging from it the pole was bending like a banana, so reinforced it with some more wood, mounted both LED's whilst holding my breath... Seems pretty sturdy not bending too much now. I wont be adding any more weight to that pole though.

Took some filtered tap water, ph'd it to 5.8 dropped the 3 think different seeds and 2 auto pounder seeds in a couple of containers. Have it sitting on top of my fish tank at the moment not sure if i will leave it there or put it on top of my PC, the computer top fan ranges in temp from 26-29C...not sure what the temp on top of the fish tank light it...i have my meter sitting on there with the seeds at the moment.

Got some hydroton rinsed up and sitting in ph 5.5 water at the moment. Will be grabbing some rockwool cubes on the way to work tomorrow.

I am planning on using the paper towel method once the seeds sink, im a bit anxious about it as i want everything to go well and have no experience in the zone of what is too wet or too dry for germination.

Plan is to make up a little batch of ph5.8 water + rhizo to soak the rockwool in, and then...give it a shake poke a hole in it and chuck it under a little cfl lamp i was using to grow aquarium plants.

With a bit of luck i'll have 5 buckets nestled in the corner of my tent under a single mars II 900w sometime in the next couple of weeks.

I smoked waaaay too much pot when I was young and dumb gave it up for years and years... probably sounds wierd to heavy smokers but i really want to smoke something reeeaally mild...and manageable.

My last experience was from 3 years back when i made some cookies out of a hermie my mate didnt want took tonnes of them around for my mate and all his hardcore smoker friends to try and they couldn't feel a thing. So i went home got excited and ate one...20mins later couldn't feel a thing so i ate another one. Another 10mins on i was buzzing and smiling...20minutes after that I was anxious...5mins later my missus came downstairs and roared at me...Heart rate went through the roof and turned it into a full blown panic attack...Kind of funny how the mind works...I've smoked pounds of top quality stuff when i was a full blown pot head. But still convinced myself i was gonna die from being high lol. Admittedly some gentle reassurance would have helped more than open hostility and abuse from the other half...but she was heavily pregnant and hormonal in her defense heh.

So yeah, might look at growing something mild. Or maybe just smoking a microscopic amount of something potent, that way my mates will still be green with envy hehe.

Hah, 2 out of 3 think different seeds are already on the bottom. Wait...ima go check... Heh, yeah still only 2 on the bottom. Good signs for 2 hours into my grow =))

Really gotta sort out an air conditioning duct into my garage this weekend. Even with the ceiling insulated it still goes 1-5 degrees above outside temps in there. It was 32 degrees today and i saw my temp in there hit 33.9 while i was working in there...shirt off sweating with a cool drink nearby lol.

2 out of the 2 think different seeds have cracked, one of them has 2mm of tap root already.

Can anyone tell me How long should the tap root be before transplanting into rockwool? and how far down should the top of the seed be when transplanted into rockwool?
