Giving self-pollination a try with AKR - Journal

Oh LMFAo My bad dude.not the growers Bible..Is that what I wrote?..LOL oops.sorry. I ment the Breeders Bible by Greg Green. Ya I gave the growers Bible away to a starter grower some many months ago to help her out.Excellent book imo though. Hey thanks Billy.

sorry yoda bro..I dont have any doctor short of the E.R. no insurance so thats not resally an option(way too many visits already n cant pay bills) short of kissing the deck again.lthanks for the tip though brother.

Everytime I think about cannabis and a bible, I think about Jorge.

After re-reading the question, it does say breeders bible. I have not read his breeder's bible but chapter 7 is where he talks about mutations. I would skim through chapter 7 of greg's breeders bible (Mutations and Evolution) reading his table of contents it looks like he touches on mutagens

MutagenIn genetics, a mutagen is a physical or chemical agent that changes the genetic material, usually DNA, of an organism and thus increases the frequency of mutations above the natural background level. As many mutations cause cancer, mutagens are therefore also likely to be carcinogens. Not all mutations are caused by mutagens: so-called "spontaneous mutations" occur due to spontaneous hydrolysis, errors in DNA replication, repair and recombination.

I will be giving this book a read later, thank you for mentioning it.

Sorry about the insurance, trips to the E.R., etc. TRUST ME, I've been there! Obamacare fail if a person live's in the US Woops

The World Health Organization (WHO) ranked the health systems of its 191 member states in its World Health Report 2000. It provided a framework and measurement approach to examine and compare aspects of health systems around the world. It developed a series of performance indicators to assess the overall level and distribution of health in the populations, and the responsiveness and financing of health care services. It was the organization's first ever analysis of the world's health systems.

Hey Billy. Thanks a ton dude.I woulda looked it up myself but eyes are jacked up and its really small print too.I know where to turn n hit the chapter now.Cool.Thanks again dude.I have a few smaller projects going and I lack in certain areas of breeding, pollination n things. "AFN smoke out" I dont deal with Mutants too often.but breeding yer gonna deal with em a LOT more though.I got an MS that has veeery veeery slight mutation(s) but...

Yeah healthy care I know a thing er five about though.YUP scumbags. I had my old doc(best doc I ever knew) actually leave his practice cuz he was basically told to suppress illness vs. treat it.Watch the movie Emergency Fire.ill have a harvest soon enough so ill be a lot better. Thanks again dude!!:smoke:

Well, personally, when I have bad medical needs, I go to a E.R. and stick them with the bill - not the best thing for your credit - but you have to live with a minimal amount of pain.

Going the doctor is never fun especially if you are a person to keep to yourself.

EOF you know yourself better then anyone, I would go get some steroid as yodabuds recommended and stick someone with the bill.
My Health > Medical Bill

Always here to help, plenty of experience with photoperiods, new to autoflowers.

Thanks for the heads up on the mutants, they always entertain. Bring on the Tri-Foliaters !!

I decided my first seed making would be with a male photo peroid and female photo period. Some F1's/F2's or some land races or something with solid genetic makeup.

I decided not to go forward with this experiment after reading a lot on breeding and apologize for abandoning the journal. Haven't been on since I decided not to spray my afghan.

Thanks for all the help to everyone.

Long story short - I don't want to make a plant have "sex" with itself, especially when it's a auto flower and who knows what gentic make up it has for sure, a lot of "unknown ruderalis" out there.

Breeding is not for the faint of heart, it's not as easy as I thought, you don't just spray a plant and get a bunch of dank seeds - as much as I wanted to believe and try. AF is a awesome community will be back on here - sorry for abandoning the journal. Take care guys.

Im glad you did the research and decided agaimst selfing an auto. :slap:

breeding for personal stock can be simple. Just follow the basic rules..

Use the best plants available
Do not use hermaphrodites
Do not pollinate a partially reversed plant
Keep your plants healthy as possible

I look forward to following your progress.

I deleted my posts because cannabis growers are the most stubborn people when they believe things. Same as the ones who think clones of clones cause genetic degrading.
I've cloned the same Critical mother plant for over 8 years. Probably over 30 generations, and used at least 5 different, new, mothers re-started from those clones.
There's no difference at all from the first one 8 years ago.
