Mephisto Genetics Girls gone wild: in my tent! - Mephisto Edition

You could just make your own super soil. I can get you a simple recipe that wouldn't break the bank if you want?

Starting with a good base soil and then adding some guano, mychorrizea, beneficial bacteria, and a Bio grow additive and a Bio flower additive and you are set. Then you would only have to use plain water in the reservoir, which is so much easier and better.

Hey. @MedCzech how are you today? I’m gonna be starting some seeds to put into those autopots today! So about what you said, making a super soil.. I actually think I may have done that before, a couple decades back LOL, I had done something similar to what you describe, mixed soil with worm stuff and lime and some other random things from Home Depot... I wanna say it was that espoma stuff or something like it but I really don’t remember. It worked good though I had quit growing not long after that so I never got to re-use it or even tryit again. When I returned to growing later I was using fox farm, tho back then it was a lot better than it is now.

what’s good these days? I already have roots organic as a base soil and I have extra perlite at home. Is it possible to add what’s needed for <60$ ish or am I dreaming lol. One thing I’m curious about is if a different sort of recipe would work for autos since they go through both cycles in the same pot in like 75 days vs repotting into something with the flower stuff for a photo

Here’s an update. The grapelets are doing well, the differences between the topped one, the one left alone, and the fimmed one become more and more apparent the more they grow. The fimmed one has become my new favorite, she sprouteda quadruple bud thing on her main stalk so this should be interesting. She’s also been a weird plant growing in weird patterns with a lot of crinkly misformed leaves. Is this a grape crinkle phenotype maybe? I do love the double grape so far, and if it’s this frosty now I can’t wait to see how it finishes

The 2 smaller plants are sour livers finally woke up and are adding size fast. They will get fed now. Seems like the foliar spray woke them up.

The fast buds girlscout cookie is still ugly but thankfully almost done so I can move in the 4 autopots soon

Go to my sig, go to my last grow and you will see what I used, but if you want the quick version what you need, you could buy any light soil, add some mychorrizea, some beneficial bacteria, some bat guano, and worm castings, that would not be too expensive and get you some pretty decent organic buds.

Also, Gaia Green makes this dry nute stuf, like 4-4-4, and that works awesome. Go to YouTube and look up Mr. canucks grow and watch how he does his soil. Easy to do and great results, won't break the bank at all man. Much cheaper than chemical nutes in the end. Ditch the chemical crap and get into organics. Taste and flavors, as well as overall quality goes up.

If you need help, Just PM me. It's all good!

Nice mate, looks like you got the “top knot” but on one of yours like the grape crinkle tends to do sometimes. I had one like it. She ended up with a massive really weird shaped lump on top!

Absolutely awesome weed so you’re in for a treat I reckon.

@Hippy Ending did you end up with a large main cola or did you end with a funny looking nub like thing ? Lol was it smokable at least

@MedCzech i did end up taking some of your advice and decided to go a more organic route. I’ll finish up the ones that have already started in un-amended roots organic with the greenleaf nutes, but everything I’m starting from this point forward will be super soil.. including the 4 seeds I’m dropping into autopots to tonight to be in the 3x3 .... as well as anything I start in the new cabinet I just started building (for sour crack or other small strains. ) Those will hopefully be ready to go in another week here and I’m excited to see what sour crack does in super soil. They were giving me an ounce a piece for 2 gallons of dirt, wasnt really that terrible for being ready in 60 days or less... but I’d much prefer to pull 2 ounces per plant. So that’s my goal

You should get your two ounces for sure. Just let me know I feel you need any help.

Should be good bro! Time to make the donuts...

Get er done!

Dude it was a strange shaped bud for sure! Exactly as Meph described could happen. Big fat weird shaped nugget and extremely dense. One of the best smokes I’ve had from Mephisto and I’ve grown some real crackers. Extremely frosty and tasty and awesome OG type effects for me: chilled and feelin good. You’ll love it buddy.

This is part of that very “top knot” dude. Such nice weed.
