Photoperiod ghost train haze #1, mars hydro 48, first photo grow

The title says it all... a few details. Growing in a gallon pot with my soil mix 70% soil 30% perlite about 1/4 cup dolomite lime. No nutes in this soil so I may toss in some bat guano for vegging. Seed is germing now and when it pops it will go straight into its final pot in my grow cabinet. I only have 26 inches of headroom so I have to keep her short( feminized seed) likely will top it at least once.
When it reaches 8 inches I will switch to 12/12 from 12/18 where I am starting. I have no idea how long this will take, hoping 3 months.

Well off to a good start. Got home and found my seed with a little tail. So she is in the pot... rubbing shoulders with a dreamberry auto till the weekend when she gets the chop. Will be novel if it breaks soil on 4/20.

• Here is a bonus day to pop her head up. 4/20. Not banking on it but I may be trying this one out by August.
• Looking forward to this photo grow being my first.This is a feminized seed but I am curious if they show pistols before they get switched to 12/12?

Depends on the strain...i have had many photos not show any sex until they trigger into flower, but generally they will show hairs around day 30...good luck on your grow

If all goes well I will switch to 12/12 by 30 days. I like to keep her size under control.

Here's a brief update on day 4. I mixed 2 tablespoons of bat guano into the top layer of soil. It's gentle on seedlings and will slowly seep down to the roots. I also mix Cal mag with my RO
Water @ 5ml per 4 liters. I'm thinking about 4 or 5 weeks veg time and will use 20/20/20 plant food starting in about 2 weeks. That's the plan anyway

Most of the photoperiod plants I have dealt with have had low requirements, how are your plants handling everything so far?

GTH is doing well. Second set of leaves up and getting bigger at 11 days.

It's been a while... not much happening at about a month in. I topped her a week ago and pinched the top fan leaves off. She's about 8 inches tall. To keep the hieght down I am going to switch 12/12 soon. Getting my usual 30/10/10 at 1/4 strength along with some cal/mag. Pretty simple.
