Indoor germination help???!!!

i got some double diesel ryder from sag.. i got a superlocker.. i soaked some rockwool in ph balanced water and put the seeds into the rockwool.. its been close to 2 days and i got nutin .. in a scared newbie and not tryna fuck this up and waste $$$.. the seeds and rockwool are inside my cloner with bubbling water and air rocks beneath them need help

I have a seed germination method that I have used for years and works good for me. I just put the seeds in a glass of water and the really viable seeds will sink within 24 hrs. I put those in moist paper towels in a baggie on my germination mat and they should sprout within another 24 hrs. If there's still some floaters after a couple of days they probably won't go anyhow. On my current grow I was shooting for 100% germination which I do get quite often and ended up pissing around with one seed that did finally shoot a little tap root but died shortly after emerging from the soil If you don't have a germination mat-only about 20 bucks-then any slightly warm surface will work. Shut off the air pumps. Try to increase your heat and humidity some. Check the seeds. If they're dry ya might have better luck germing with paper towels. Its been my experience that bubbling water and seeds don't agree as the seed has not a damn bit of need for oxygenated water. If nothing else pull the cubes and set em in a plate of water and cover them with plastic wrap and set it on the water heater or heating pad set to low. If the seeds haven't cracked and they are soaked take ya a pair of tweezers or your teeth even and press about the last 16th of an inch. You have to press across the parting line though not with it. bol bro

take 2 paper towels get them wet put the seeds in the middle of both of them put two plates over them and in a dark place for a few days

Agreed^^^^^^^^^^^the above is the most commonly used method and works very well mine crack within 18hrs(almost 40 beans this way 4 different grows)but i put my paper towels in a rubbermaid bowl and close the lid and open a couple of times and the next day they ready for rapid rooters..JMO dont like rockwool as there PH is 5 and below...

agreed here too paper towel is the best. i soak for 24 hrs in water first then paper towel those little jewels and have GREAT germ rates.

Don't give up. I've tossed starter plugs into the soil pile and come back two weeks later to find four inch long babies that sprouted after I'd given up but ended up dieing from lack of water. Some seeds are just stubborn. I made a lot of newb mistakes with my first bought seeds. You might practice with crappy bag seeds till you've built up your confidence.

My method is a little different than the others mentioned. I scuff my seeds and put them in distilled water till i see a pretty good lookin tap root about as long as the seed. I plant the seeds in plugs in a styrofoam egg crate and wrap the crate in plastic wrap to keep in the moisture. I check em daily and keep em moist with just a few drops of water. Sometimes I pass on the egg carton and start them directly in soil after the soak and tap roots show.
