Grow Mediums General Hydroponics nutrients for autopot coir?

Mariano:

There are a lot of good nutrient lines out there. I think the most important thing to do is choose one and use their entire line and nothing else until you become more experienced. These manufacturers spend a lot of time and money making sure that the product line works well together. Follow their recommendations. IMHO the best inexpensive line is Dyna-Gro. I have grown many successful gardens with it. GH has a following but I have not personally used it. Yes, most nutrient brands will work well at 50% strength for hydro systems but not all. I am using House & Garden right now and other growers I am in personal contact with all run it at 100% or more of the makers charts.

As a new grower do not make it complicated. Plant seeds right in the soil, provide your plants with a warm 78°F to 84°F environment with fresh blowing air, good lighting for 18 hours a day (autos) and regular watering/fertigating and you will be successful.

The reason I was asking about half strength isn't for saving money but I have read in many forums that nutrient companies over dose their nutrient feeding schedule and it isn't designed for cannabis in order to sell more product and could cause nute burn or something... or is this a myth and it is safe to just follow the companies recommended nutrient schedule? :) sorry there seems to be a lot of varying opinions online that is confusing me.

Is it true organic? Won't stuff get more susceptible to clogging? For starters how much should I add per gallon or liter in the different phases of the plants life? Or just going by general hydroponics feeding chart would be good? 1/4, 1/2 or whole strength. Sorry I am OCD lol
Were all OCD in here = occasionally crave dubbies. Why else grow cannabis?

This is why I want you to keep it simple. Some things like nutrient burn need to be experienced to understand what you are seeing. Jump in get started. Post pictures here we will help you.

PS yes they want your money, they ALL want your money. That is not the reason that 50% strength works better for some systems with some strains. There are a lot of variables but remember mother nature can grow cannabis in a rocky outcropping in afghanistan without any help!

I plant whisper so a bit loose with advise but goes something like..

Day 7-10 = 0.2 EC
Day 10-28 = 0.5 EC
Day 28+ = 0.8 EC
After stretch = 1.0+ EC

It's not true organic, it has mineral additives but if you wish to cultivate friendly bacteria and fungi it and the additives they recommend should not kill them.

The 3 part Flora series calls for a different range of additives. As does the Coco range, that said the FloraNova can be used with any medium and is about as simple as it gets
