Grow Mediums General Hydroponics nutrients for autopot coir?

Tang’s 2015

Heres a nice easy feeding schedule with very few ingredients that can grow big plants...... all you will need is a good light soil mix,I've developed this with Plagron Light so that's what I would suggest, a reasonable water supply, mine is PH7.4 and EC 0.4 most tap water will be around this range and the nutrients.
Base nutrients are Advanced Nutrients Sensi Bloom A&B then for bloom AN Carboload and Overdrive. Two of the test subjects were grown simply with these ingredients but the third needed extra Calmag so that's advisable to have. The nutrients are PH perfect so no need to check or adjust PH, I don't even adjust the starting 10 days water or the final flush water,it goes in at 7.4.

Days 1-10 Water.

Days 10-20 Sensi Bloom A&B at 1ml per 1L (of both A&B)

Days 20-30 Sensi Bloom A&B at 1.5ml per L

Days 30-40 Sensi Bloom A&B at 2ml per L.

Days 40-45 Sensi Bloom A&B at 2ml per L. Carboload at 1ml per L.

Days 45-60 Sensi Bloom A&B at 2ml per L. Carboload at 1ml per L. Overdrive at 1ml per L.

Days 60-70 Water.

I've based this on a 70 day grow but if your plant takes longer or are photoperiods just extend the Overdrive phase. Non of the plants I used this schedule on had a 'mid grow flush' which makes this method even easier.
For fine tuning watch the leaves,if the tips burn, back off the base nutrients slightly or if the leaves start to pale then increase the base nutrients slightly.
Calmag can be added at 1ml per 1L all the time you feed Sensi bloom or if and when you see a deficiency.

I have a couple of grows done using the GH nutes in my sig. They worked well, but I ended up changing to AN, found it easier without the PH-ing.

@Screwauger Thanks do you have a reputable link for the modified lucas formula feeding schedule that works. A google search has so many different results.....

For your personal grow and how much you consume in nutrients. If you compare the cost of AN to GH how much savings would that be an estimate would be ok. I just want to know the savings vs the hassle of ph'ing lol and if it is worth the hassle compared to the savings.

Think I posted in the Coco forum but anyways.

I have great success with FloraNova, almost don't need to think about it, really stable, reliable and cheap.

It always pH' perfect for me

Looked up AN and may try but the FloraNova + toppers is simple and pulling down 300+g plants a joy lol

Should i just follow gh's nutrient schedule at half strength or do you have a schedule or grow journal with detailed schedule? I am a total newb btw. Really need to learn but doing extra research so I don't waste money before purchases.

I'm full hydro (not dwc but similar)

Coco may be a little different so suss stuff out lol.
They don't do an auto chart and I haven't used all their toppers

Basically FloraNova base
Floralichious
Great white myco

In flowering I add Alaska pure (potash) and sensi bio Diesel (guano)

Am tempted to try the whole range they suggest for FloraNova and it is different to the 3 part Flora range

The FloraNova is their 'organic' line which shouldn't kill the good root bacteria.

I swear it is so simple I get bored lol

I measure EC and ramp up from 0.2 to 1.0 along the way sometimes up to 1.2 or 1.4 if the girls can take it without the dreaded claw.

I have used the grow but with autos next time I will simply start with the bloom as it has some N in it.

A very basic but 'organic' routine, great to start with while you dial it all in.

Ta for the slaps lol!

Mariano:

There are a lot of good nutrient lines out there. I think the most important thing to do is choose one and use their entire line and nothing else until you become more experienced. These manufacturers spend a lot of time and money making sure that the product line works well together. Follow their recommendations. IMHO the best inexpensive line is Dyna-Gro. I have grown many successful gardens with it. GH has a following but I have not personally used it. Yes, most nutrient brands will work well at 50% strength for hydro systems but not all. I am using House & Garden right now and other growers I am in personal contact with all run it at 100% or more of the makers charts.

As a new grower do not make it complicated. Plant seeds right in the soil, provide your plants with a warm 78°F to 84°F environment with fresh blowing air, good lighting for 18 hours a day (autos) and regular watering/fertigating and you will be successful.

Is it true organic? Won't stuff get more susceptible to clogging? For starters how much should I add per gallon or liter in the different phases of the plants life? Or just going by general hydroponics feeding chart would be good? 1/4, 1/2 or whole strength. Sorry I am OCD lol
