Indoor Gage's Method Of Keeping Males In Same Room As Females.

Ok so the video will do most of the talking but i have to add that after think about it i decided to put all 4 of the males agains the same wall as the A/C so that the fan doesn't blow on the bags and disturb the plants. I also pulled all the bags up until the were about a 50 cent peice size opening at the top and taped em to the wall so they WILL Not fall down. The method is that if i keep my eyes open for the sakes to open every day then i can just remove them from the room and collect while still keeping the males alive in the same room as the females. BUT if the sakes open between looking at them and there is any disturbance then the pollen will be contain in the bag. and time i move the bag i make sure to close the bag completely and wait 1 min to let anything seattle before reopening to a 50 cent piece hole.

So they males can get light and breath and i won't have to worry about pollination as long as i KEEP an eye on the plants.

Nice one, Gage. Will give this a try. I have been keeping males in the same small space as my females until they're just about dropping. A couple of times I moved them too late and some pollen got spread around that I didn't want. I think this method would be good for me.

right on. glad i could help. the only i would do different is find clear bags to put them in. I've check on the males and they all look healthy just gotta wait until they pop. Later tonight i'm going to bring them out and take a video of all 4 of the dudes and have AFN decide which male i keep lol

thats a sweet little idea. but like the second post i would worry about pollen blowing into the other room through his make shift filter at the bottom. BUT i like the idea of the card board at the bottom to collect. i will take this idea and add a paper plate instead.
