New Grower G14 and AKR

Trucking along! Now is when defoliation is good for the new growth underneath. I wish I would have done it sooner myself. Hopefully you get another week or 2 before full flower. It will really help develop more bud sites.

@FullAuto245 thanks I hope I do get a nice growth/stretch/bud site creation before full flower. You think I should defoliate some of the fan leaves? I did some more lst after I took these photos I posted. Dont know why I keep posting the pictures before doing the lst lol. But i can if needed just don't know how many to take this early.

Using Tyler’s advice you can take some before flower. I would definitely tuck the big fans if you can. I had a bunch of younger branches I wish I would have opened up the center more for now.

@Boognelson87 Does it stink when you open the tent or after? I find that even with the filter if I open the tent late in flower it can stink even in the other parts of the house, wax melts are your friend! Get you an electric wax melter and get you some cheap wax melts at walmart works great! Use these outside of the grow room don't want your flowers getting all funky smelling but works great for the rest of the house.

I think its just from me opening the tent. I guess it lingers for a few hours lol. Got back from.our overnight trip and came in and I couldn't smell anything so mustve been just the tent opening aftermath

Day 61, 30, and day 5: quick update before bed. just got back from a trip to Kansas city and pretty beat. I mic'd the trichs on [HASHTAG]#1s[/HASHTAG] and looking around 5%amber or less still on both plants. So no chop tomorrow. Not amber enough for me. it's ok though. They look great and still bulking. The g14 paid dearly but she's giving me the best she can for my mistakes and ill take it. The [HASHTAG]#2s[/HASHTAG] are looking good. Both working on flowering and stretching. did some more LST tonight ill show some before and after. The akr2 Is now 21.5 inches wide and still getting wider lol. The g14 I didn't measure but prolly around 17 inches I would guess maybe 18. They both are prolly 6-7 inches tall..i will measure soon. The [HASHTAG]#3s[/HASHTAG] are gonna live and looking decent. Definitely slower growth at age 5 than first 4 because of the shell being stuck. Hopefully being in the 5 gal smart pots they'll make up for it. Fed them first dose of photosynthesis plus tonight.

Thanks man and I'm prolly not gonna chop until at least 20-30 percent amber.. g14 started ambering 10 days ago and just now about 5 percent amber as of last night... So my guess was today for it to be ready. but i was wrong so maybe mid week. I really don't know..tomorrow is 9 weeks old so maybe they need 10 weeks. I know the Afghan kush ryder k grew about 8 years ago or whatever I grew to 65 days. And it put me down. Heavy stone. So maybe they'll amber quickly over next couple days. Really don't know.
