Yeah I doubt it would get that big under our conditions though, that is like how Mephisto grows the same strains I do but bigger than those pics. Also I forgot to mention to you I was thinking the other night about how your Afghan Kush has the name Ryder in it, anything with the name Ryder in it comes from the original Lowryder strain which is essentially a dwarf auto that gets no larger than 16 inchs, just mentioning so you know is all personally I think the Lowryders are pretty cool especially if you ran a ton of them in smaller pots.

Yeah thats true and you couls train it to be smaller as well. I may try it down the line but i really want to try mephisto genetics first lol. Even though Afghan kush ryder is a ryder it does have phenos that will get taller. One guy had 3 that outgrew his 5 foot tent and had to move into a 7 foot height tent. Here s a couple photos. That's the reason I chose to lst and play it safe . I topped just for heck of it and see what would happen. @bhaskara_phoenix here's a couple photos from journals on here. Why I was sketchy on letting them grow naturally without training.

If you look at top photo from the journal they started growing into the lights and burnt his colas. Had to move to 7 foot height tent once it came in

I've noticed the leds tend to stretch plants even heavy indicas especially at higher wattage which could be good or bad depending on your space. I don't know if I would even want that right now maybe when I move if I build a grow tent or if I just lst'd.

Imo LST just seems the way to go. Helps keeps more light to lower buds. I dont have much experience other than rhis grow but you can tell by journals and logic. I mean a 4 foot plant or a 18-24 inch plant thats been LST'd properly has to be better. I wonder why they stretch them? Lack of proper light spectrum or something?

I believe they stretch them because they provide light that replicates the sun better than say cfl but if not enough watts the plants won't pack on much that is why with led it is go big or go home even though you could do say 1 plant under a single autocob and do great. You have a decent amount of watts your probably pulling 130 to 150 per light which is fine.

Yeah lst just makes sense more larger and developed colas vs 1 big and others med and less developed after I harvested my first I knew it made sense cause you just can't get the light on those lower tops like you want.

Day 36 and day 5: be a nonphoto update just a reference for myself. Akr 1 did was still moist did not need watering. G14 is a thirsty girl and so I just gave her microbe water. The 2 youngn's got there first dose of photosynthesis plus. Looking back at my page when the first ones were day 5 these seem the be very close to size except these 2 are not as wide. Couls be because lights are roughly 7 inches higher than during that time for first ones. It appears my big ones have stopped growing upward and are focused completely on budding. Akr is 6 inches or little more tall. And g14 is close to 10 inches tall. I absolutely love it lol. They are gonna just be solid buds and be grade A. At least i hope. I doubt i ever top an auto again though
