New Grower Fruiti tooti toof decay first diary [emoji636]

Cheers @autonoob hopefully keep it up, I have an adjustable ballast ranges from 250-660 I started off at 400w raised it to 600 but we've had Afew warm days so thinking of dropping it down on warm days so reduce heat.
Or does it generate the same amount of heat regardless? I've started back at work so I'm bloody whittling about them lol

not sure about the heat difference on the dif watt settings how many hours light do u give them and have you the lights on at night or daytime hours

@autonoob my cycle is 18/6 lights off at 1pm in the afternoon back on at 7 at night. Tried to judge high temps in afternoon, and with me being at work it works for me, My only times I'm struggling is 7pm-9 when the sheds been sat in sun all day, I stuck a bottle of frozen water in there last night.

Looking very good there. You could increase your lighting period to 20/4 (I do 21/3) but some say you can run 24 hrs with auto's but I think that's just weird and I like a some quiet dowtime as folk go to bed.

I'm not convinced of the 'off period' being when it is the warmest time of day. I would have thought of the opposite since that's the time I'm running any active fans and extraction (my extraction shuts down so it really does become a small almost sealed box) and I want that to be at the coolest time so everything cools off (even in the 3 hours it can go from 28 down to 20).

See what your temps do << I have a small cab and at the moment (small plants at a similar size to yours) - im running at 28,2C which is hotter than ideal... but then if I grew plants in ideal conditions they would probably outgrow my space. It's not been that warm (here anyway) so you may need to consider some additional passive shed venting for later (even a couple of small louvre vents can help and have the advantage you can easily close them down if outdoor temps are low.

Anyone give any feedback on this product, instructions are in Spanish I think, I have all on following English never mind another language. It's got the bio tab mark on the back il probably use it if it's ok,
no idea what todo with it. I called to see a friend for a coffee and ended up walking away with all sorts, ecothrive tea, some more bio tab bits, some wild seeds from Jamaica, cages. Felt like a kid a Christmas I only wanted a coffee.

Day 15.

Started watering every other day now, they had a ecothrive biosys tea on Friday.

I've come to the conclusion if your not building lights or on the band wagon growing the latest seeds your post get ignored! I've seen this the more I read, I've been on the chat even posted in the infirmary but still not had my questions answered.. oh well like usual il manage alone!

Here's the ladies.

I would like to say one more thing just remember sometimes people can't afford the latest equipment or have the knowledge and understating to build there own and understand your scientific terms with things, WE HAVE ALL GOT TO START SOMEWHERE REGARDLESS OF EQUIPMENT so don't be dicks and make people feel they're not capable of growing with what they have just because they aren't LED OR COB.

What up bro! Exhaaalllee! Lol.. We were all once where you are now and we are all still here! There's a reason for that. I don't think the lack of response has to do with your gear. There are several variables at play. As far as the infirmary goes, that's one busy place. I use it in emergencies. First, I do my own research and diagnosing. I try a few things.. If nothing works then I hit up the infirmary. Also do a search of my symptoms in the infirmary thread. It pulls up every post with those symptoms.. So if you searched "rust colored spots" in the infirmary you'd probably get hundreds of posts. In your case, that looks like classic cal/mag deficiency or lockout. More calcium than magnesium. A teaspoon of epsom salt per gallom of water will work if you dont have a cal/mag nutrtient in a bottle. I attached the go to chart I use for all basic/common issues.. If you cant see it or download it, you can google "cannabis deficiency chart".. We all get them..so you'll need it.. part of becoming a better grower is the learning process. In 6 months (if you do basis research on your own and learn from others journals) you will be able to call out deficiencies on sight. I've only been growing for about6 months, and here I am looking at those leaves and knowing instantly what it is. It's all in the process. Your plants will be FINE! I've seen and had much worse! Lol. The damaged leaves will never get better, your goal now is to stop it from spreading to other leaves. Easy peasy!

My advice on interacting.. When I was super new, I started following the threads of growers that grew in the same styles. I commented on their journals, liked thier pics, asked them questions, ect.. as a sign of respect. Once I had a journal going, they did the same for me. Its definitely 50/50.

My 2nd suggestion would be to post your journal in the thread specific to the breeder whenever possible. For instance.. I would have posted this journal in the Mephisto thread. That way you get advice from people with hands on experience with the same strains your growing. You will find common issues/mistakes/successes with strains easier as well. I cant image how many new posts get started in the "new growers journal" thread every day.. I imagine its super easy for someones journal to get burried amongst several others. Also, once you're no longer a "new grower", you don't frequent that thread as often.. Most of your responses will be from fellow new growers.. Which usually isn't what we are looking for. You can tag any staff member and they can move this journal to the Mephisto thread for you!

Breathe brotha! You are surrounded by like minds and many talented growers! You're part of the right forum, trust me!
