the smart pots and air pots will for sure dry out quicker but the advantages out weight the negatives i daily water starting with as littel as 50ml a day or every two days depending on the soil then increase the amount over time im on day 38 on my grow and both plants get about 600ml a day. also your soil will shrink in the pot its better to fill the pot to the top from the begining then top it off halfway though the grow. also i think stagering is a good way to go this is how i do things :pass:

Howdy mate, looking good in your shed. I did the overwatering thing on my first grow in November, but much worse than you! I reckon you're ok there, don't reckon much damage has been done. Just keep on watering small amounts every day and that will encourage the roots to spread out looking for water. If the soil is soaked from the start, the roots don't need to hunt for moisture so root system will be limited. The most important thing in the first few weeks is getting the root system to expand out as much as possible, which means it will be able to support a big fat plant.

Good luck mate looks like you're getting it sussed quickly  :vibe: :slap:

Oh and personally I would recommend airpots instead of those fabric ones for the UK. Much easier to water IMO. I started with fabric pots and really couldn't get on with them, where as the airpots are a joy to use.

cheers autonood and good morning, handy to know that I was under the impression I had to water weekly but I'm worried about her drying to a crisp but 50ml nothing.
Il be topping up half way then.. I'm going to have to get a diary to jot these tips and when I'm doing them,

What week have you found works best for staggering, turn around, is the yield affected?

I've been a big fan of TaNgs IG and his grow diaries I've read all of them (before I knew about AFN)

I didn't want to follow his schedule just yet but his results....
Let me just clean this drool up...... incredible

thinking of keeping with bio tabs for Afew grows for simplicity and the fact that's what mephisto use has encouraged me more to run it for Afew. Just so much to take in. I'm not the brightest bulb in the tent lol just glad I've been off work for Afew weeks to get my head around it and spend some time with the babies.

Cheers for the encouragement and kind words. I'm hoping to switch to airpots or run both and compare results, are the fabric pots reusable?
