New Grower Fruiti tooti toof decay first diary [emoji636]

The excitement of the first grow, oh I wish I could go back... Looking real good matey, great set up you got going, you may want to invest in a heat extraction hood for that light if your temps go crazy in that shed this summer. I grow in a loft, me and high/low temps are old friends now... @Bud Wiser UK has an awesome shed set up, you guys need to talk shop.
Every one has given all the good advice so far, just follow it and your be on track... I will have to agree with @Fairlynew , I would hand water you first few grows until you know what your doing with feeding. Chances are those lady's are going to want different feeds at some point and maybe watered at different times. Those dripper system work well on cloned photo's because all the plants pretty well much want the same feed at the same time but auto's from seed will be fussy a differ from each other, quite drastically some times. I have 2 Jack Herer's on the go, both the same breeder and one is a greedy girl compared to the other.
I wouldn't worry about RH to much as long as it not super low at the start and really high at the end of the grow I would just go with it. I do, I used to fuss about it a lot but gave up on that now, it the one environment element I just can not control to well. Mine sits around the 45-60% mark depending on when they have been watered.
Have some rep my man for a job well done on the start :slap:

a lil dish of water,a fan pointed at a wet towel.a few of the things ive heard to raise rh a bit.no idea how effective though.
goodluck.
:pighug:
iv tried this wroks great but there is a addition that makes it much more effective get a coat hanger and rig up a stand then hang a piece of cloth from the the stand into the water in the dish the cloth will wick the moisture up and evaporate it much easier you might want to try a few different types of fabric to find one that wicks the moisture the best iv raised my RH at least 10% here a vid to explain a bit better

Thanks @Slater for the great tips and again putting me at ease on this journey.

The drip feed system is something a grower off IG introduced me to just as a precaution in case I'm working away or anything, they're a secret garden for a reason.

Much love for the rep my man have a blessed day

if workin away is going to be a ongoing thing maybe look into investing in a autopot system iv seen people on here do great things with them

Cheers for the video mate I'm definitely going to have a play making that, saves £15 buying something, really appreciate it il keep you posted on how I get on.

Working away is as rare as me getting good weed.. but The Mrs does like a weekend break so It's literally a precaution something that's there if I need it and probably have a play later when i become a better grower.

I worry about all the daft things.

Teatowel and bowel lol - and those thicker Jiffy type cloths are as good as capillary matting I use similar techniques to drive up humidity at seedling stage with those (always useful for spills too).. never be without a quick absorbent pad (sounds like a girl thing but sound advice all round especially around anything electrical). I used to reserve the now grown-out of disposable kids nappies for those 4L spill moments.

If you find temps and humidly aren't under control here's one personal observation in small spaces... The first grow, we all start plants at the same time . In an indoor space entropy dictates that all those photons flying around in your foiled-up space are just going to convert to heat if not used in any other way. So temps will be high - draping damp cloths and letting them evaporate will reduce temps as energy gets used in evaporation reducing temps and increasing humidity. By the time of rapid growth my temps start going down and humidity up through natural evaporation and by 'stretch' and full flower everything is under control without any additional humidity control << here in summer we tend to struggle to remove moisture but that's just nature.

Personally I have been trying to stagger my small space to help even out humidity and temps so that I have one plant under veg-stretch phase and one full flower (not an ideal for lighting but Auto's are quite resilient and happy beasts).

These have just been my personal experiences and I'm sure you will find a whole community here who will help along the way with any questions

@spiffscot Great tips mate thank you for the advice.
so am I right by saying staggering my grows will help keep things stable more natural,
I was hoping to start putting seedlings in with the others around week 6 and keep this rotating would that work.
Gotta Keep the jar topped fo the Mrs.

Think I've got borrowers robbing my soil. Pesky bleeders. Anyone help me why has this happened and what todo for the future? One seems to be a brighter green than the other but apart from that they seem really happy, I'm trying so hard not to water they've had a dribble of stood tap water yesterday but will have a proper one when my moisture meter comes. Any tips on using one?
