New Grower Fruiti tooti toof decay first diary [emoji636]

What up bro! Exhaaalllee! Lol.. We were all once where you are now and we are all still here! There's a reason for that. I don't think the lack of response has to do with your gear. There are several variables at play. As far as the infirmary goes, that's one busy place. I use it in emergencies. First, I do my own research and diagnosing. I try a few things.. If nothing works then I hit up the infirmary. Also do a search of my symptoms in the infirmary thread. It pulls up every post with those symptoms.. So if you searched "rust colored spots" in the infirmary you'd probably get hundreds of posts. In your case, that looks like classic cal/mag deficiency or lockout. More calcium than magnesium. A teaspoon of epsom salt per gallom of water will work if you dont have a cal/mag nutrtient in a bottle. I attached the go to chart I use for all basic/common issues.. If you cant see it or download it, you can google "cannabis deficiency chart".. We all get them..so you'll need it.. part of becoming a better grower is the learning process. In 6 months (if you do basis research on your own and learn from others journals) you will be able to call out deficiencies on sight. I've only been growing for about6 months, and here I am looking at those leaves and knowing instantly what it is. It's all in the process. Your plants will be FINE! I've seen and had much worse! Lol. The damaged leaves will never get better, your goal now is to stop it from spreading to other leaves. Easy peasy!

My advice on interacting.. When I was super new, I started following the threads of growers that grew in the same styles. I commented on their journals, liked thier pics, asked them questions, ect.. as a sign of respect. Once I had a journal going, they did the same for me. Its definitely 50/50.

My 2nd suggestion would be to post your journal in the thread specific to the breeder whenever possible. For instance.. I would have posted this journal in the Mephisto thread. That way you get advice from people with hands on experience with the same strains your growing. You will find common issues/mistakes/successes with strains easier as well. I cant image how many new posts get started in the "new growers journal" thread every day.. I imagine its super easy for someones journal to get burried amongst several others. Also, once you're no longer a "new grower", you don't frequent that thread as often.. Most of your responses will be from fellow new growers.. Which usually isn't what we are looking for. You can tag any staff member and they can move this journal to the Mephisto thread for you!

Breathe brotha! You are surrounded by like minds and many talented growers! You're part of the right forum, trust me!

Hahaha woosah.... all exhaled out now bro, :puff puff:

I didn't meant to come across like a pleb (sorry folks) rough time at moment and just after doing some research to help me understand this crazy world I had seen comments and made me question being on here. I'd got off to an amazing start on here [emoji20]

I've done the research and I was pretty sure it was a Phosphorus def, I'd got the purple stems and the browny/yellow on the tips, just wanted some guidance or putting right, and that I was right it saying it should rectify its self being grown organic.
Should I remove the damaged leaves? Basically don't want to shock her any more, she was stunted but seems to have caught up and if anything is growing quicker now.

Im waiting on some boom boom spray by bio tabs it's a wonder spray for all kinds of problems, they both had a organic brew Friday and seem to have enjoyed it.

I'm a very anxious person and suffer with bad anxiety and I can say growing isn't helping with it at all, every little thing is getting my arse twitching,

@Prophetiko thank you for keeping me inline and helping, [emoji1317]

the only brownie/yellow tips is the very bottom leaves.they touch soil, get splashes and get manky anyway.let them be till they fall off, then remove from grow space.
a lot of the infirmary people are in diferent parts of the world, could be 12 hours before posts get looked at.
not much happens fast in soil.
less is more/keep it simple.......2 things i hear over and over again that ring true.
chilling out with a fat one,and having a quite word with the girls is often all thats needed to fix some issues.
good luck.
:pighug:

Yip as per archie - they are looking good - some blemishes are normal - tips on soil will get damage - water splashed on leaves and left as droplets can spot burn - shake em off... nothing I'd be worrying about in those last pics - there will be blemishes all thru a grow (indoor more from handling -leave em alone and avoid over handling-) (outdoor they get eaten by pests with assorted numbers of legs <8, or moldy).

But hey << it's just a plant in a pot << so please don't stress and remember that overfeeding / over watering and over concern on the part of the grower won't help << it's supposed to be a stress reliever :D

I was referring to the growing of the plant process not it's consumption which was a given...

I need to start having me a wake and bake. Cheers for the advice it's all alien to me and I've waited and put so much effort in I worry.

I suppose it's the best way to learn as well.

I am in a position to be able to offer you some invaluable advice mate. For once I can help! I also suffer from anxiety. To the point that I had to take a bit of a "break from everything" lol and just chill out at home for a while and smoke lol. I will tell you openly here that I have been doing some awesome counselling because of anxiety that built up, and have come to understand that basically anxiety is the backbone of my life for the last 20 years without me even knowing what anxiety really was. My first grow was a bloody nightmare to be honest mate! I can see a similar state of "general panic" in some of your posts that I felt all the time. Not knowing who to listen to and which way to turn, or which option to chose. I hated every second of the first grow really and wanted to pack it all up and fuck it off so many times. But don't mate. Just keep going and learn what you can from YOUR OWN ACTUAL EXPERIENCE. I hate to quote him again, but in the words of the great Clinton Fearon, "Experience is the greatest teacher of all".

The bad news is you're gonna be stressed and anxious until the end of this grow! The good news is it gets better and easier with each grow. Even last week when I was really sick, I came so close to taking it all down and not bothering. Luckily I realised it was the virus!

Anyway, to the advice! Slightly adapted from that of a famous comedian, but I stand by it, especially if you're an anxious person:
NEVER leave the house until you've had three joints and a wank. LOL! :crying:  :vibe::yay:

As for those lower leaves, it does look to my inexperienced eyes like a slight deficiency rather than a burn or spillage, due to the mottling / spots. I would say maybe calmag? And is it your "shite old lighting technology from the dinosaur age" or are they a bit pale yellow / hungry? :crying:

PS. When you're feeling frustrated and want to kill people, just send me a PM swearing at me and calling me names mate. I understand :toke:

Now go and have a frikkin :jointman:

:vibe:

Oh the bitches have been thirsty, the term dryer than a nun c*#! I majorly messed up starting these off.

Since then I gave them a good drink then I've been watering every other day 500ml and spraying the top of the soil if it gets Sahara looking, hoping she would get better and I "think" she's getting there, I am hoping the boom boom spray will resolve most of my worries.

I do get carried away with the spray bottle, not mastered squirting yet..
