Indoor Frogster Autopot "Zamnesia" Grow

What does the Amnesia smell like? Does it Have that classic spicey haze smell?

Sorry @Ribbzzy, I missed this question.

I would say yes, but slightly different... it's a long time since I had the "Original" but from what I think I recall, it is similar, maybe a bit more fruity, sour (smell). Still picking up that spicy note.

Sorry mate describing it is difficult for me..... like taste, smell is subjective and I find it hard to describe.

I know things like "spicey" may mean different things to different people... I am trying to find the words that everyone will understand and I can't.... Darn.

Oh, Although it is still not cured, but.... As I type, I am testing a bud from the first Amnesia girl, and she sure hits your head.... find myself day-dreaming a lot :smoking: creative thought too :cooldance:

What was I saying...... :pass:

Liking this :headbang:

Beautiful grow and harvest! Would rep slap you around some more, but supposedly I'm not spreading it around enough. Where on earth did you get that bowl trimmer from? I never thought they would work that good.

Oh and almost forgot, congrats on your promotion.

Day 67

The final Plant (from this grow) has been Harvested and trimmed, and is now in the tent drying.

Sorry I am a bit late getting this update done.... But it took me longer than I anticipated, to hand "rough trim" the whole plant in the pot. I stopped trimming her last night and finished her this morning.

I left a few colas with some bigger sugar leaves as an experiment for later - to see how the trimming machine handles very rough trimmed buds.

Here she is after the final rough trim (before stripping buds from stems)... I am rather proud of her, one of the nicest looking and balanced autos I have grown.

Once I had her at the stage in the photo above, the remaining process was very easy & quick.

Buds were snipped individually and separated into natural golf ball sized bits , leaving the stems in place as a living skeleton. I won't be doing it this way every harvest, way to long...

But I wanted to take a photo of the inner plant structure and how well the support cages/frames I used worked.

Those of you with a nervous disposition or easily offended.... look away now... She is naked!

As you can see the cage worked well, It helped shape the plant in growth and supported it in bloom.... How good is that !

All the bud was put through the bowl trimmer in batches, until it was trimmed to the level / shape I wanted.

I allowed the trimmer to do a slightly closer trim than before as the bud looks very frosty and I intend to use the trim from this Caramel plant to make "Canna Butter", so either way its Win / Win.

Look at the frost on the trim...

I haven't weighed it yet, but there is plenty of it and quality it is.... Look at the sticky trics on the side of the bowl..... Very nice... I will be administering decarboxylation for butter making tomorrow I think.

The bud itself is very nice, sticky firm, dense, and smells of the sweetest fruity maybe even citrusy mixed notes.... The taste (licking sticky bud trimming fingers) is sweet... very nice, very moreish.

This, I think is going to be some "Megga Quality Bud", and not a bad haul..... Well done Zamnesia......

Yep, that is 860 Grams .... or, in my money 30.33 ounces. Either way, that's a record for me. Close wet trimmed weight. I shall report back with final dry weights of all plants later.

I am a very happy bunny..... I have to shout these peeps here....

NOW THATS A BUSH!!!!!:growing: great job man!:slap:

wonderful! just brilliant work!

:slap:

scrolling along a couple of pages back, looked at final plant and guessed maybe 1/2 lb = 220 g.
then next page and you give 860 wet, which (depending on various factors, etc.) maybe 1/4 to 1/5 weight --> 200+ g.

really makes us all admire your methods.
maybe you could make a separate thread of your methods, lights and light hrs, pots and medium, nutrients, etc.
link it all back to your actual grow journals.
it could be a great resource thread.

Quick Stats update

Statistics.jpg

Calculating the % of Shrinkage Evaporation Loss, I can look at what drying method produces the least shrinkage / best buds, and adjust future grows accordingly.

Back later.. :pass:

Edit :- I forgot to say the they all shared the same lights, so.... The lights were on for 1280 Hrs in total, this grow.
