POST HARVEST UPDATE

Thanks all..... Yep, I continue to be very happy....

The Caramel is still in the drying tent and coming along nicely... Deliberate slow drying, I think she will be in here at least another 2 or maybe 3 days before she sees her first Jar.

I removed a bottom stem, small sized nugget. just to have a look... well maybe a little sample as well, after another days air dry... In reality the first real smoke this will get will be another 2 weeks at least, but I can't wait.

Nice and frosty she looked..... So I got the microscope out...

The results are in..... The Caramel is dry and been transferred to Jars.

235 Grams (8.28 Ounces) of really nice quality bud into the large burping Jars.... In reality, I could add on maybe another 25 grams, for bits that have been "purloined" by various family members as it's been drying.

2 weeks minimum cure before a smoke report,,,

That's about it.... 628 grams or 22.15 ounces

So my average shrinkage is 72%, now I have data to work with I am going to experiment with different drying methods, and try and bring that down.

I will compare it also with my old tried and tested methods.

But............ Don't forget, there is also that super sticky bud trim... Remember, I extra trimmed the buds very close as the leaves looked like tric heaven, and I wanted some good trim for edibles...

So, I also dried and baked it in the oven (Decarboxylation - my normal procedure).....

And now I have 62 grams or 2.25 ounces of the best material for making loads of "Canna Butter" or "Canna Oil". Oh Yea !

Guess what I am doing this weekend.... ..... ......

I bet you be doing some cooking baby. I just made me some canna coconut oil peanut butter cookies and I'm just floating around here. So much beauty in those jars, Great Job.
