Drying Tent Update
One and a half days drying and the buds are looking good. This is a new way of drying for me, wet trim and net rack dry... So new territory here....
Drying at about 15.5 deg C with a humidity of around 65% for a nice slow dry.... I like to dry it slow, but you need to get the airflow just right or there is a chance of mold developing.
A small 120 watt tube heater and a 6" clip fan, coupled with the Rhino Pro filter & extraction fan takes care of that.
The exhaust from the drying tent is directed into the grow tent, not really needed, but the smelly air gets a second filter before being finally extracted outside.
After about another 2 days, I will lower the Drying Tent Humidity down to 40% for a final 2 or 3 days (if required) before cure starts.
That may change as I need to adjust as I see what and when things are happening.... Exciting - testing new ways of doing things... all "suck it and see"
This is the data chart for my Drying Tent for the last 24 Hrs.... Holding pretty good at the set target.
Here is a 36 Hr drying bud, still a bit moist, but starting to tighten up now to a nice firm bud. Looking good I think, as you can see the trics are plentiful...
Placed the above bud under the microscope to have a closer look. It is Tric Heaven in there.....
The trics are just where I wanted them for this plant, should be a good head and body stone (if I have timed it right). some cloudy, some clear, heads just bending over a bit, and very sticky to touch.
The smell.... You will have to trust me on this..... MMMmmmmmmmmmmm !!!!! Nice..... One of those you want up your nose permanently.
Thanks for the interest..... The second Amnesia Haze gets chopped tomorrow.
