MC is very close to organic feed. Was planning to make the switch for a cycle or two, but walked into the hydro shop today and walked out with a new light. I’ll use the already amended, already purchased stuff for another cycle.
Are you running HLG 650R @Frankthetank ? They are discontinuing it and was marked waaay down. Got it for 400,

No, I switched to a Mars FCE 6500 when I moved. I sold everything in a bundle before I left. That’s a smokin deal on that light my friend!!!!

The guy says it’s a $1200 light. Definitely nicer than the 3 lights currently in operation .
Not going to play well with my spouse. Currently still in my trunk.

I’m in the camp of not fixing a grow that isn’t broken.

Same...I started out trying to grow simply in organic bag soil, and figured some things out along the way; but as a result, I've never bought nutes, or had a way to test actual PH, or PPM.

I see little difference between my coco setup and full organic setup both produce great bud

...and this also makes me think I'm not missing anything

Wow...that is a nutty price, even the refurbs are 60%+ more than that. I don't ever want to have to buy another light again...but I might have stuffed that mofo in my 2x4 and just dimmed it

Ya might check your local shops that stock HLG. They are anxious to sell new models, and can’t until inventory is clear. I think it’s at cost.
That would blast a 2x4 !

HBSS @Waira Bubble Gum alert!!!!!! I stuck my nose up close to her main cola this morning and got slapped in the face with that familiar childhood smell……sadly, no comic strip though lol

Also, I’m calling the Terpinator experiment a resounding success. There’s a level of smell in that tent that I’m certainly not used to, and I’m happy I have two layers of air filtration, otherwise I’d be stinking up the neighborhood
