Really nice. Frank which pro-mix blend do you use.I'm in dirt now but I think for the next grow I may try coco or pete.Thanks.
My preference is promix hp….but I’ll use the Walmart red bag promix if I can’t get hp
By the way…..this current grow is with the red bag Walmart promix. I’ve since been able to find a couple bails of hp to use going forward…. At least until I run out of it.
@Frankthetank so you don’t add anything to the Pro Mix. Perlite or any other aggregate?
No, I used to add two or three big double handfuls of medium perlite per five gallon pot…
Eventually I ran out and ended up doing a grow that had half with and half without added perlite, and not only was there almost no difference, but the bulk of all of the perlite was in the top third of the pots…..so I don’t think it really makes a difference….at least in my grow.
Cool. Just curious. I really like your simple approach to growing. I’ve never grown anyway other than organic. It’s just how I learned to grow in my early twenties. I wouldn’t mind trying your way. Maybe one of these days.
I’ve done it other ways, including organic and hydro over the years. In the end, I take the stoner approach and do the easiest, method that produces acceptable results. The way I’m currently doing it fits that bill fairly well. I’m spending a little amount of time on plant maintenance, feeding etc…. Getting max results.
And it’s fairly cheap, on top of everything else…
The pro mix hp was the one I was looking at as well.Dirts seems to be working well for me but I think I'll try a few with peat on my next run. Thanks for the info.

Interesting leaves on the HBSS, very NLD looks considering her heavy Indi' lineage. Mine was the same... Any hint of bbgum aroma? I got burned on mine sadly, and I'm wondering if the leaf shape is indicative of such pheno's...
