I'm finishing up my plant and it's starting to foxtail, I've researched it all over the net and there's so many different conditions that can cause it, it's just confusing me.

I was wondering if anyone here has had this happen to them with himilayan blue diesel too or is it just a trait of this strain or something I could have done etc.

I just ordered a new camera so i'll be able to throw up some pics in a few days.

Here's just a random pic of a bud foxtailing...

could be room temp, light distance, kind of medium,ph of medium, tooo high p/k ratio to name a few possible reasons.....

buds look tasty, so really all you could do is alot of side by side to check if genetic tendency in your particular genetics of hbd

little by little you will find out what needs to be chaged for the particular direction you want to go

Cool foxtailing :)

I have only ever had it happen with some Top44 and it was only with one plant

I get foxtailing all the time but only after they have been grown awhile. Quite often I run my strains 75-85 days well past the normal due date just to see what happens and that is when I see most of it. I have never had a bad side effect that I can recall from it.

Are you using shooting powder or something like that? Too much of it towards the end can cause that on certain strains.

I did use AN's big bud one extra week in week 5 but that's about it.
