Let's bring this thread back to life...
Going into my second grow for soil. I used straight pro/mix HP on my first go round. This time I'm going to mix 2/3 Happy Frog to 1/3 pro/mix HP.
Anyone see any issues with this??

Not really. I don't see what's wrong with just straight Promix HP, though.

My answer was very short...

Let me elaborate. My first grow with promix was rough. Granted I was a complete newb and didn't realize I needed to supplement my soil via calmag, feeding, etc... So this time around I thought it would be beneficial in early growth to have some supplements in the soil. That's all. We all know that the seedling/veg period is critical for healthy autos. My first grow I dropped the ball during this period and set my girls back a few weeks not to mention the stunting and the deaths... I think the promix will add some lightness or airiness to the happy frog mix that should work pretty well in my 1.5 gallon airpots I'm using this grow.
