Also this will be a never ending process for me, at least for the rest of the winter. I'd like to take a break but I don't want my electric bill fluctuating because of it so I've got to keep going. It makes me feel safer. I'm going to buy a new tent from VIVOSUN I believe soon. I need to clean my grow room up a little bit. I think as soon as I move the other Fast & Vast out of the tent 6 fast bud strains are moving in.

I hope my filter works well with that 240cfm fan. I harvest in my bathroom. I set everything up in there and go for it. I like to take my time too. I think next time I will put tape over the vent for the bathroom. Where I live the homes are very close together and I don't need the smell escaping through the vent. I could smell weed right outside the bathroom door.

Would it be okay for me to light a candle in there while I harvest to help mask the smell somewhat? Thinking it wouldn't do much as far as the smell is concerned.

Also do you guys think I would be alright using HPS from beginning to end with autoflowers? I don't want to buy a multi spectrum HPS either. Also what are some reliable bulb brands? I should be able to use any with a E39 connection right? I have a hydrofarm setup, convertible magnetic ballast.

Yeah, it stinks cutting but not as bad as not able to smoke. it will age in the jars, the longer there the better it gets .

Check out the lighting threads, should be one devoted to them. I am a led guy, but lots use the hid. ceramic hid is out nit and supposed to be the bomb

Yeah, I know it can be done. They say it just makes for taller plants but I can control that. I feel like I might actually benefit from my plants not being so bushy. I will be packing my tent soon though.

I was just looking at lights on Amazon and while Eye Hortilux may be the best light from what I've read on Amazon the lights they have shipped out have been used or have a short life span. I am using a Xtrasun right now which seems to work fine but perhaps I could benefit from a better quality bulb. I run my lights 24/7 with no breaks so I would like to replace my bulb every grow, or at least every two grows.

I need to find a way to dispose of all my waste too! Dirt, leaves, and whatever else that needs to be thrown away. It's hard to find something to carry 5 gallons of dirt in. I am very paranoid about all of this stuff. I try to be extra careful... I don't wanna roll up to the dump with my garbage smelling like weed, and my neighbors are so close they can see inside my house if they wanted to. I also don't want to put it outside of my house just in case the police want to be nosey. I don't do much outside around the house so it isn't really normal to see me doing stuff outside. I don't want to raise any suspicion at all.

So after 36 hours of drying here is what I got.

Had my buddy test it for me. He said it was nice a smooth. He also said it's better than what he has been getting from a guy he knows. He took a couple hits off a one hitter and he said it took a minute to sit in but once it did it was nice.

It was just a tiny small bud that I left out on the counter to dry. Plucked that one off a few days before harvesting.

Day 56

Not a lot new going on with the plants. I'm hoping my other Fast & Vast will fatten up some more before she finishes. Watered one of the wipeout express early today. Both wipeout express still have pretty much all white pistils.

Fast & Vast - Plant A Is drying well. Kinda surprised with this brown bag method. Not only does it conserve space, but I can also use my grow room as a drying room as well. I just hung my bags up in the grow tent, no need for a extra fan/filter, or another space just used for drying.

It still smells 'green' if you know what I mean, like fresh cut grass kinda sorta, that's the only way I can explain it. After 45 hours the buds are soft, but not wet to touch, just real soft. I think at the end of tomorrow they may be ready to go into jars possibly. I started out with the buds in two separate bags, as they shrunk I moved them all into one bag. I'm not really concerned about them molding anymore like I was at first. I'm not concerned with drying them fast either as I can't smoke them yet because of drug test.

I do however know that the bud I harvested was potent. I have a buddy who smokes everyday and hooked him up with a bit to test out for me. Everyone has always loved the Fast & Vast strain that I know. Before my first grow if you told me I could grow high quality weed I would have never believed it, crazy how shit works.

I would say I've got 2oz, maybe more from the one plant which is amazing because of the problems I had. They were really yellow towards the end. I don't think I'll be getting as much off the second Fast & Vast. The buds aren't as fat, they're more longer and skinny compared to short fatties on the other plant.

I can't wait for the Wipeout Express to finish, I think I will pull my biggest yield ever off of one of these. The buds on top are nice and solid! I gave them a gentle squeeze when I had my trimming gloves on. My only worry is that they may not finish. They are yellow and there is nothing I can do to fix it at this point.

I love growing weed if you haven't noticed! Sometimes it's a pain in the ass, and sometimes I really enjoy it. Sometimes when I get home from work I don't want to fill 8 gallon jugs with water, add nutrients, ph, then water each plant but it pays off in the end. It also has its ups and downs! If my plants aren't doing well it's a bad day for me! It sucks when you have a bad grow, but the important thing is that you learned something. It may feel as if all your time, energy, and money put into a grow was wasted but it really isn't. I think my next grow will be my best ever.

I probably annoy the hell out of people with my question asking sometimes! Sorry if I do! I can't wait to take someone under my wing one day when I am successful and get to use the knowledge I have learned over time to help someone else.

Alright I'm done typing. Just wanted to share for some reason. once I harvest the other Fast & Vast I'm starting four more, I will start a new journal and continue this one as well.

Very nice chop bud. We learn by asking questions and by getting through a grow and cure, curing is just as important ! after 60 days you will be amazed by the changes to the buds.
