What is the size of your grow area?
I'm looking at doing 4 star ryders in a secret jardin 60x60 under a 250wmh for veg and swap to 250hps for flower
Im thinking putting them into 7lt pots?
Would the above be to overcrowded in the dr60?
I've seen on eBay a 80x80x150cm tent delivery for under £50 myler and pvc free
Would the 80x80x150cm tent be better for 4 plants in 7lt pots under 250w hps?
Any advice here would be very appreciated

My box is 60x60x90cm high. 7 litre pots would give you monster plants, also using HPS they would be huge, i have only used CFL so far so can't really advise much.

My 4 starryders were in 2L pots and grew to around 40cm and that was with LSTing.

I got over 3oz from the main buds :

Plus a half oz of trim and a half oz of popcorn buds i've been oven-drying then smoking, so it's 4oz !!

I did promise myself i'd do a year with the CFL, so two more grows to go until next April.

i'm just amazed at the starryder yield under CFL. The buds aren't quite as dense as HPS but they certainly aren't airbuds. Exceelent little auto

I'm a new growner, and I want to start my first grown in the next few days, and I cant decide between two strains. (SuperSkunk&Staryder).
I have a releative small growing area (40X50X80) and I want to grown 2 plants in the same time. As I see your grown place not mutch bigger than mine, and you grown 4 plants in the same time with successfully.
I fear from the Staryder horizontal size, couse the grown journals what I read always show me a big horizontal size, and I think this strain will be too big for my grown area, but I see your plants and I expressed some questions. How you can stay the plants in this small size?
At first I think, the pot size is the key. If I read well you use only 2L pots. Thats the reason?
I want to use 5.5L pots, but now I'm uncertain. If the bigger pots make bigger horizontal expansion, its not the good way for me (couse the small growing area), but if the smaller pots results smaller size I will choose this strain and this smaller pot way to grown.
Any advice for a noob like me? :group:

Yes, pot size is a way to control plant growth, they will be smaller overall, but yes, starryder are very bushy, but you could trim the lower branches and the side branches then more of the plants energy goes into the main cola.

Starryder is very good for a strong main cola.

I think starryder in 5.5L pots in your space could only accomodate two plants.
