I'm with Eek, GB, Yoda, and others. Try it for yourself and find out what you prefer. Pump a plant with nutes right up until chop day and see how the finished product is. Maybe it'll be fine for you and then you've got your answer. Give a friend some flushed and unflushed buds in a blind taste test and see what he prefers. Jorge Cervantes, Ed Rosenthal, Mel Frank, and other well-respected growers do recommend flushing, but ultimately it's your weed and your call.

Well what I'll do I'll be deciding tomorrow. I probably am going to do it because I have only 1 plant at this point and I don't want to take to big a risk on that. On the other hand I am preparing for the next grow which will be 2 or 3 at the same time so I'll keep one to the side which I'll keep feeding nutes till harvest and report back when that's done! I just wanted as much input as I could!

Just give ph'ed water and some added mollassess for a week and than one week just plain ph'ed water... You'll have sweet buds :) I don't know about the heavier user vs light user getting past numb... I smoke literally 24/7 cigs and weed unfortunately atm am a walking chimney and would say I smoke on average about an ounce every week and half.... So Wouldnt classify myself a light smoker... Def next run if your willing would love to see that experiment...

Great debate and a good idea from the gaffer to do a quick poll.

Personally I do not flush. I like to get 'em as big and fat as poss.. My taste buds are a bit shot and I probably would not notice the difference. Interesting though, and a good question.

eP.

I see no need on organic grows, but like pop said, what's in the plant is in the plant.

This is a debate that has been thrown around for years. I have always flushed plants grown in soil. Exp. growers can tell near end of flowering when the plant stops drinking so much and that's when I start flushing. Indoors or out it is the same and I've always thought that there is plenty of nutes left in the soil for the last 7-14 days. Peace
