I've ran a test on the same strain from clones, 1 flushed, 1 not flushed. Test came out to be, flushed plant was cleaner tasting, the cure came out better. Unflushed was very dank and skunky smelling, cure came out to be much different than the other and less appealing. I always flush, if it was my food I would be flushing, so I treat my bud the same.

Looks good bro looks healthy.I wish i would have seen pics earlier i would have told you to wait to flush her,she still has some time left.Id say 3-4 weeks left. you want your hairs to be changing color and reseeding back into the buds. like so

I was kind off thinking the same thing but, am I not supposed to flush when all of the trichomes are cloudy?
If she really can go another 2 weeks I will let her do that, I need to be sure though.

Can not compare food and bud. Food doesn't get flushed because when u eat food your liver and kidneys and all that good stuff can filter chemicals like fertilizer left in food.
When u smoke it goes straight to your blood stream no buffers which can be really bad for you if their are leftover chemicals in your bud. You are right tru just thought I'd fill u in on the food verses bud point they can't be compared when it comes to flushing I thought the same when I started.

I am a flusher and proud of it!
Seriously though my thoughts on the flush are simple, plain water is to allow the plant to use up the nutrients left over and then the sugars that the nutrients are broken down into for the plant to use. That's why I harvest just before lights on. I think the excess "sugars" are what gives the bad taste when burnt also the darker ash. Think about it ever smell burning sugar? I know that this is vastly over simplified but kind of how I think about the process.
illbethere, she is a beauty for sure. However I would say she has a good bit of maturing to do before she'll be ready for the scythe!
Compare your flowers to this one.
Even disregarding the colors you can see the "hairs" have darkened to that golden color and the overall development of the flower. Let yours go for a bit, like Magic said, you'll be glad you did!!

i'll do another flush when I think it's time to do so then.
I'll consider this a little pre flush she's still doing fine atm and not really showing signs of any stress or shortage of anything.

she is early looking at pics... the "flush" you used molasses and all... is good... and thefact that she's early is why she is respnding so well.
a tip:
in plants... sugars (and other nutrients) are transported by potassium. most of this transport is done early morning (sunlight) and late afternoon. as much as 80% of a plant' growth happens between 4am and 8 am. :check:

I must say I'm now smoking my own bud for 1-2 months and have compared it to dealer weed. (which is probably not flushed most of the time)
Although my experiment is coming to an end. I'm already leaning towards flushing.
Now tho I do wonder vaporizing vs. smoking, if vaporizing unflushed weed tastes the same. It doesn't pop etc because you're not burning it leaving all the minerals in the weed and just toasting out the good stuff. This could mean a great deal towards the future of vaping. Having two stashes one optimal for smoking 1 for vaping.
