First time grower questions. 10 autoflowers / 8 autopots in 4x8 tent

I am day 34 now. I didnt Cut any leaves off as suggested. I just did the most basic lst there is by bending the ladies over as pictured in my first post.

I am very thankful I haven’t had any more issues yet since adding Cal/mag to their diet and i was able to get a measure on the ppm I have been feeding which is around 900-1000 or so.

My next question is - when should I start on the bloom nutes? It looks like they have started to flower or pre-flowering Purhaps? I have about 50 litres left in the autopot reservoir. I was thinking to let them finish up that (will take maybe 4 days) then start the bloom nutes then. What do you think?

Look great! Others will chime in I am sure, but I generally wait a week or two into bloom before feeding bloom nutes just to be sure they are ready for them.

Nice job with those ladies!

Thank you. I waited 2 weeks before going to bloom nutes. Things are progressing well. A couple of them are starting to get frosty and I am starting to be able to distinguish the strains by looking at them. But some plants are slamming into the tent and it’s a bit of a jungle in there.
I am too nervous to defoliate because I don’t know enough about it. Any advice if I should defoliate and what method you use for defoliation? Can the leaves be used for anything once chopped off?

The ladies are now on day 52!

That tent is packed! You are going to have quite the trim job, but I'll bet you will be smiling lots while you do it.

As to defoliating, if it was me, I would. To my relatively inexperienced eye, that canopy looks dense enough to cause mischief. I have pulled bags of leaves and sometimes stems off my plants, and have yet to see negative consequences. I have seen mold though (fortunately not indoors yet though), so I tend to err on the side of keeping the canopy open.

OTOH, you might be ok if you just keep RH at the dry side of ideal according to VPD, and make sure your fans are moving air through the entire canopy.

Good luck with it. :pighug:

@Ali3nz You are doing very well as are your plants. Get down on your hands and knees and look betwwen the plants in a straight line to the opposite tent wall; when you can see the wall and it is lit with light you have an air passage. Now do that down the middle and between each row. This method will leave as much of the top canopy as possible and yet provide good air flow. Air flow is more important in the lower part of the plant than light.
:toke:

I found a before and after:

Thanks ver much for the detailed information, that helps a lot. I have gone ahead and deoilated the fromt 4 plants and will try get to the rest later :)

I have a couple plants out of the 10 I have in the tent showing these spots. This is on Day 58. Is it something to be concerned about? Anything I should change?
The 2 ladies with these spots are Seed Stockers BCN Critical XXL Auto. There was 1 leaf that turned completely yellow on a demon auto tao in there as well.
Humidity is 50%
Temperature during day is 24-27
Temperature during night is 20-24
PPM in feed is 700. Calmag is being used, Coco/perilite mix. Bloom nutes and general A+B
PH is roughly 5.8-6.2

Tip burn only happens with over feeding. That's the first sign... Next comes what most people think are deficiencies..
