First time grower here

Yes I’ve only fed water because I’m using kind soil which is supposed to be only a water situation I’m not checking my correct ph I’m just watering I thought that would most definitely get me by untill now I’m thinking the soil has locked me out any suggestions? I potted seedlings August 24th

I can tell by the products you're using that you're in a different part of the world to me.
I've no experience with Kind Soil .. but i have a suspicion that fox farms soil is a bit hot (too many nutes) or is it the Happy Frog soil (which i "think" is the lighter version of it)

I'm thinking that a combination of the soil and unknown water PH is the likely cause of your problems.

If the seeds came up on the 24th .. they're about 16 days above ground now. If that's correct, it looks like there's going to be a diagnostic time where we find out what the problem is (you'll need a PH meter for that) .. and then repairation time.

If your doing this "Just" for the experience of growing one out and learning ... i'd say stick with it.

If you're growing to get a yeild ... I'd probably start thinking of throwing the towel in for this one (i know how harsh that sounds) and start germing some more beans with a view to changing up the soil type and measuring the water PH (or just buying water that has a value you can trust ... my store branded water has a 6.2 PH .. so have used that for a gentle start in the past)

Is your water from the tap? Do you live in the city (meaning, the water is probably hard and high PH)

I use a lightmix soil (biobizz if you have it available) and you dont really need nutes for the first 5-10 days, but i've been using a gentle (canna start) to help them along. I trust the PH of my soil and water. Then it's just down to temps / light and humidity

Hope this helps

I'm a low effort grower, but have a good few years experience behind me. If you're not too fussed whether its organic, i wouldn't discount the use of nutrients (rather than the premixed soils that you only need water for).

Here are the things I need in my setup for a successful grow. (most of which it seems you have)

1. A light soil (meaning low on nutrients) to not burn the seedlings before they take off. I use Biobizz Lighmix .. but Plagron also make a light soil if that's available to you.
2. A good light - you've got a 1000w light - which is a lot of light for a seedling, so keep it nice and high to start off.
3. A movement fan to make the little ones sway a bit
4. An extraction fan ((with carbon filter) for air exchange and to stop the smell later on
5. Water .. I know my water from either a bottled source or dechlorinated tap water is fine ... but you should get a PH meter (bluelabs, esssentials are good ones for 2 examples).
6. Nutes. This grow i'm trying a simple setup. I'm using Canna start for the first 20 days, Cana Vega for another 20 days and will move onto canna flores for flowering. I'll also be using a PK addition to fatten and make the buds more dense (from about day 45ish maybe 50 ..it depends how the flowering goes)
7. I don't use, but Temp and Humidity meter will help you (you've already got this)
8. I use an auto pot ... it's hand watering for the first 20 days and then all fed from the resevoir - its a very easy way to get the watering right and not spend too much time mixing things up and watering.

The only "water only" system i've tried is Biotabs .. it's an organic type setup when you add tablets to soil and they break down over time giving the plants what it needs.
I've tired this a few times .. and with just the Tabs and ammendments, i feel that you stiil need to make additions ... micronutrients and PK.

Getting the water right early on is a must - not too much so the roots have to search .. but not too little to stop the plant growing, (this comes with experience).

That's about it really.

I think with the right soil ... and the right water, you'll be flying in no time. And don't mess with them too much - it's tempting always want ot give them more, but quite often, taking a more laid back approach gets better results.

Hope this helps - feel free to check out my grows or ask any questions!
