First time grower, full of doubts - Also sort of a growth journal

One of the girls (the shorter one) has some top fan leaves "burned". I believe it's due to the nutes. Anyway, that one will only get water with big bud on the next watering, and after that just ph corrected water. The other ones will stil get one watering with all the nutes, but with 1/2 the dose, and after that they´ll also be getting ph corrected water. Still waiting on the "loupe". On today photos the thrics seem a bit cloudy. Let's wait and see.
One more thing. I've been looking for info for drying and curing. I already ordered 62% boveda packs for the cure, but i still have a lot of mix info about the drying/cure process. I know this is a learning process but i'm counting on you. So if you could give me some pointers on RH/temp for drying and curing, that would be great. I'm not sure i can get the temp around 20º C, for hanging or paper bags, and i still need to learn how to get RH at 60% outside the tent. So, any advice will be most welcome. Thanks.

So, a confession. Today it took a lot of restraint to not cut one small bud or two and try to "speed" dry in the oven or something like that. I'm really eager to try them. Anyway, i did not do it. Some pics

Go ahead. It's yours. you cant hurt her taking a little nug. Put it in the oven at 220°f for 20 minutes.

It will be a little harsh probably

Hi guys. Can i get some opinions on general health about this photos? My temp is raising, over 27ºC, and i don't know why. Should i start doing a 12/12 with the lights to try and reduce it or something like that? I'm afraid to screw the VPD. Don't want to raise RH to avoid mildew or other issues, but at the same time it seems to hot to have the RH at 45% or something like that. I'm even afraid of defoliating because of the temps, but at the same time i believe the leaves are damaging the airflow. I lowered the fan but i'm not sure that's enough.
Thanks

:smiley1:

If your VPD is good, I don't see how you could get mildew. VPD of 1.2 to 1.5 is where mine are at, mostly around 1.3. My tent is getting hot, up to 30C and the RH is 61 to 63. Only time I experienced mold is outdoors with a very wet fall where the buds were saturated with moisture and the RH was close to 100%. If the grow environment is dialed in (VPD, circulating and exhaust fans), I don't see where mold or mildew would be an issue. Just doesn't make sense to me for it to be other than this.

Speaking for myself only. I run at 82° and 55-60% RH. I have a perpetual grow. Everything from seedlings to late flower. I have had explosive growth in veg and excellent tight nugs. I have had a calcium hiccup recently but that has nothing to do with temp/rh. I am not going to tell you that bud rot is not possible in my environment. My plants get trimmedup. I have an oscillating tower fan and an additional 9" stationary fan. Personally I think 45% rh is too low at any stage. Will 45% at the very end of flower provide some benefit like 1/2% more THC? I suppose it is possible. That is probably based on anecdotal information.
