New Grower First time grow.

Mature seeds just naturally fall off of the plant and into the dirt to wait for rain/water hit hit them. This has worked perfectly for thousans of years.

Sorry to everyone trying to help. Have been working a lot and haven’t had much time to write very detailed posts. So I have 8 plants total. 4 bag seeds that I used to setup the box while waiting for the autos to get here, and 4 different autos all from canuk seeds. All 4 were planted in the same mix as well as the 4 bag seeds transplanted from solo cups into 3gal pots and same mixture at the same time. Oct13th. From then the first one sprouted on the 17th(gelato) second one sprouted the 18th(zkittles). The last 2 sprouted the 19th(sour diesel and amnesia) sour diesel a little behind the amnesia. From there they seemed to be ok but slower then what I’ve seen on YouTube. The 22nd is when I noticed the tip burn and when all 4 autos seemed to really slow down. Like didn’t do anything till today. The amnesia is the only one with tip burn. The gelato and Zkittles look healthy to me just aren’t really getting bigger.

Looking good for the most part. I'm still thinking your soil is a bit hot for the auto seedlings but they'll do okay.

So am I just freaking out being new? And at what point do I know they can start handling more water? Before finding this forum I tried “flushing” some of the nutrients out with what I thought was a lot of water. Roughly 10oz each of the 2 plants. I’m guessing that was probably a bad idea? Should I attempt transplanting them into different soil? Or will that just kill them faster?

um, ya, that may not have been the best plan of action, lol but don't despair, there'z no need for tranzplanting...however, i do highly suggest gettin a good ph pen as soon as u can, cuz who knowz what the ph of ur tap is, as well as ur soil...it can be a delicate balancing act...in the meantime, i'd suggest uzin dist water if u can ppp

Personally, I wouldn't do anything but water as normal.

I think I'd use a starter pellet or as @archie space gemmill suggested, use a top layer of other soil in your pots so that the seedlings don't start in the hot stuff the next grow. But that's for the next grow.

Well it looks like a waiting game now. Thank you to everyone that has helped out. I will try waiting it out for a while and see what happens. Probably start looking for new seeds. I’m in Michigan. Any recommendations on where to order seeds from?
