How far do you have your lights from top of the plants? What kind of air pump do you have?

So its day 45 for the Bubba Kush and she's ready for mainline cut [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG]. Its been 9 days since cut [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG]. She has grown 4 nodes on each side and I think I waited a bit too long for the second cut. Anyway, its all good and I won't wait that long for mainline cut [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG].
There seems to some type of leaf damage to the a couple of fan leaves, maybe nute burn?? It's symmetrical but only to the fan leaves on the first nodes of each side. These will be removed when I mainline so I'm not really concerned.
Each main has 4 nodes at this point. I should have only waited till 2 or 3 nodes before mainlining again but hey its a learning process right?
I decided to mainline at the 2nd node this time.
Removing all growth below the second node but leaving the fan leaves on for a few more days
Update: The Neville's Haze is on day 12, chugging along slowly....the third node has just popped up.

Looks good man, hydro will explode usually at week 5ish for me. Once it takes off though youre in for a treat. All the topping and stripping does slow it down but once you get to flowering and actually letting her go she will turn into a beast
Love how that main lining looks and works..if I ever do photos...that's what I am gonna try

Alright, time for mainline [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG]! I did the mainline on Christmas eve and didn't have time to post so these are from 4 days ago.
Day 54 for the Bubba kush with a thick canopy but a very short height. I have it next to a 30 ml bottle of RS.
Anyway, on to mainlining.... there were 3 nodes on each stem and I decided to cut above the 2 node and like before left the fan leaves on temporarily.
Mainline [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] for the Neville's Haze on day 20. I decided to mainline the NH sooner than I had the BK, I guess due to a little overconfidence... I waited till she just had the beginnings of the 4th node and cut it there.
Update with new pics today @ day 58 for BK and day 23 for NH
I guess I now have to wait till the mainlines grow 20 inches from the base of the roots(according to the Nugbuckets tutorial which I'm basing this on) and then I can put it into flower...probably 3-4 weeks.

A) I'm a little confident now that I have done it a few times
B) I realized what an impatient person I am
C) I wanted the NH to be ready by the time I turn the light schedule to 12/12 so both plants can flower together
She's grown out to 3 nodes on each stem but still a little short
I made the cut at the first node because it had the most developed pair of leaves and I don't think cutting at the third node matters after the first mainline cut. I hope I'm not wrong...

So its day 32 for the NH and day 66 for the BK. Both my plants took off in the past week and I'm very pleased with the growth.
I waited till the third node grew out to mainline at the second node.
Update for the BK
I plan on waiting another week and then change the cycle to 12/12 to flower both plants.

So update time y'all!!
I waited about 10 more days for both plants and 3 days ago I put them both on the 12/12 flower schedule. There's really no signs of pistils yet and I'm really getting impatient.......
Bubba Kush @ day 78
The BK nearly doubled in size and is about 2 feet tall.
I've been manicuring any large fan leaves that block light from reaching below but I've left on the fan leaves at the very tops so as not to slow any growth. Hopefully growth will stop by itself once the plants adjust to the new light sched.
The mainlining didn't turn out "text book" perfect though because it was hard controlling the stems in a hydro bucket with just soft ties to work with.
Neville's Haze @ day 44
The NH has grown double of what it used to be but not as tall as the BK. Its a full 32 days behind the BK.
It has been easier to control though since sativa's aren't as bushy as indica's.
The leaves are super spindly though and I've noticed a few of the new leaves coming in twisted & gnarly. I don't know why this is.
Hopefully these biatches start budding soon!! I wonder if there's any way of speeding things along???
