Hi guys,

My last auto grow failed miserably (because of bad genetics)and I was left with a couple of freebies from the Attitude seed bank which were both photoperiods: Bubba Kush from Humboldt and Neville's Haze from GreenHouse.
This is my first photoperiod grow and I'm hoping the only difference is the length of time it will take to grow them and that they'll need to be on a 12/12 light cycle once I flower them.
I'm doing DWC using Botanicare's CNS17 line and have them under two 300W chinese LED lights and an old 125 W, 6500K CFL.
The BK is about 35 days old while the NH is 3 days. I'm planning on main-lining both plants 3 times for a total of 8 colas on each plant. The BK is very compact and has very tightly spaced nodes and I'm a little hesitant to start deleafing because I feel she's still a little small even though there are 5 nodes at this time.

Any advice?

her auto version was bigger than your bk by this point. happy and healthy tho so im asuming photos just take a bit longer to hit their stride.

just had a look through your other threads there mate. what happened to the big one? she was lookin oretty schweet.

Hi @EvilScotsman, My last auto just kept growing and at 10 weeks had still not turned inspite of changing the light cycle to 12/12. I also tried 2 days of darkness to kickstart flowering but to no avail. At the end I had to let her go....I don't want to point fingers by blaming genetics but I'm also not going to order anymore seeds internationally. I think american seedbanks are now the way to go. My nest seeds are going to come from eithe reliable seeds or seeds here now. They're pricey though...
Started the current grow soon after. I really thought hydroponics meant turbo grows but none of them have been like grows I've seen other people do on this site... Anyway, I'm just happy the plants look healthy.
I'll be starting the mainlining later today!!

Alright, Here goes nothing!!
My BK had grown out a little more in the last 2 days and achieved a full 6 nodes.

I left on the fan leaves associated with the 3rd node to help with healing and further growth and will cut them off in a couple of days.

how many times you tried it mate? that big one looked like it had the frame for at least a half pound. do that with an auto that actually autos and your laughin : )

Yeah it was tall and I had very high hopes but it didn't flower. I gave it around 3 weeks to flower with the 12/12 cycle and in between did the 2-3 days of complete darkness but nothing seemed to help...

Update: its day 40 for my BK. I cut off the remaining fan leaves and have used soft ties to pull the two branches down.

Both branches display pretty symmetric growth

Just waiting for the third node to fully come in, another 3 to 4 days I hope and then its mainlining cut [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG].

I'm on day 64 on my first hydro photos doing 2 white Berry's and a tangerine dream they are 10 days into flowering cycle. I would like to see how yours grows after topping and the tie down. Plant looks strong It should turn out pretty beefy!

@Chris Stroupe You're plants look way bigger at every stage. I wonder why my plants grow so slowly...they always have, even in hydro. I need to figure out where I'm going wrong.
