Photoperiod First Photo grow with Bubba Kush & Neville's Haze

Hi guys,

My last auto grow failed miserably (because of bad genetics)and I was left with a couple of freebies from the Attitude seed bank which were both photoperiods: Bubba Kush from Humboldt and Neville's Haze from GreenHouse.
This is my first photoperiod grow and I'm hoping the only difference is the length of time it will take to grow them and that they'll need to be on a 12/12 flowering light cycle.
I'm doing DWC using Botanicare's CNS17 line and have them under two 300W chinese LED lights and an old 125 W, 6500K CFL.
The BK is about 35 days old while the NH is 3 days. I'm planning on main-lining both plants 3 times for a total of 8 colas on each plant. The BK has very tightly spaced nodes and I'm a little hesitant to start because I feel she's still a little small even though there are 5 nodes at this time.

Any advice?

Hi Friend!!!!!
I like to wait until there are at least 6 nodes before i start topping, but it does depend on the strain, sometimes I will top when it grows the fourth node. Its really up to you and you have to decide based off of your visual assessment of the growth of the plant. They both look good so you must be doing something right!!!!

I think its reached 6 nodes today so I'm going to top her tomorrow. I just felt that she's growing slow....i've seen a lot of pics of other hydro grows and it feels like they have a huge plant in a month while mine's chugging along slowly.
