Probably a long shot on the thai but the Northern should be a cert as they are seeds from Royal Queen seeds. The thai seeds have come from an old stash I have had for a while. I used to get amazing red string so I have my fingers crossed for those!

All have been popped into jiffy bags and into compostable pots and currently under the dome sweating it out.... should not be too long before they poke their little heads out! :yay:

They will eventually end up in my poly tunnel once ready...

Enter the tunnel...
So all 3 Northern Lights have made their way to the poly tunnel for the next few months:

They are all in different sized pots 1x30L (about 6.5 gallons), 1x20L (about 4.5 gallons) and 1x15L (just over 3 gallons) as that is all I have. It will be interesting to see which does best.

I am also trying out copper strips on the pots to deter slugs and snails as I have loads of those things in the garden, anyone have any experience using copper tape to stop slugs etc?

As stated in the title this is my first outdoor grow, so chime in if you can tell me of any common issues or pitfalls that can occur that are easily avoided or dealt with. Thanks all!

Side-note: none of the Thai have popped up yet, so I will keep them in my propagator for another day or 2 and then decide if it is worth pursuing that avenue. On the plus side if they do not pop I have space for these from Royal Queen Seeds:

Auto Purple Queen
Auto Dosidos (excited about this one)
Auto Cookies
Auto Gorilla

The Thai have been a flop which is a real shame, but I have more seeds so will try again with those at a later date. So instead I have started the Gorilla, Purple Queen and Cookies which should ready in a couple days. The 3 Northern Lights seem to like the poly tunnel so far, I hope that continues. One seems a little deformed so I will keep an eye on that...
