New Grower First Indoor Grow....Ever

Well here is my day ten update. Nothing much to not other than I had to move my fan set up to the floor. My inexperienced buy of a fan and filter left me with a very heavy set up. This weekend I think I will mount it to the ceiling and run some cables through the tent to hold it. My tent was holding, but it was bowed a bit and made me nervous. My platform is now making it a little tight and hard to move around with the filter on the ground.

Temps are running 74-64.

Included a few pics. is the size about right at a few inches? Just curious.

Well it has been a minute since an update. These pictures are day 21. Feel they are a little small, but I had some issues the past week that I think are now solved. If you are mildly entertained by a newb that thinks he has diagnosed his issue correctly and he finds out he is wrong...very wrong. On top of that there are issues he did not even know existed. The link below is for you. I believed it was just mild nute burn.

https://www.autoflower.org/threads/nute-burn.56798/

The BB Kush and one of the Diesels were in bad shape and I almost wrote them off. Big thanks to @Waira & @jingo for getting me through my issues before I lost my damn mind. They are pictures 2 & 3 below. I know they look rough but that is a 200% improvement from 2 days before.

The northern lights in picture five is not deformed my dog decided he needed to eat that leaf.

Other than that just growing and learning.

LINK SPOILER ALERT- my membrane i had in my RO system was to small and my ph meter did not hold calibration for some reason. Along with that if I did the run off test correctly my coco ph level in the pots was 7.69. So hopefully with that fixed we will see some accelerated growth in the next week or two.

Nice setup which should reward you well.

I had the same problem with the fan/ filter a few years ago and placed a few pieces of 1x3 across the top of the tent. I also cable tied the 1x3 round three sides of the tent. Made a massive difference to stability especially when the fan kicked in on full power and let me sleep a bit easier.

Good luck with the grow.

Still kind of debating. 2 plants to maximize my first effort. 3'x1.5' or 3'/4'x2' both 5'/6' tall. Mobile ceiling. CFL grow 3/4 lights for spectrum points of 2490, 4100, 6500. My grow thread is in the beginners subsection white widow autofem XTRM CFL closet grow. My main concern is lack of potassium available.

Your beauties is looking good, hoping to take some good cues. Continued good luck

Quick update with a few pics. I have my first pistil. The two northern lights are at 29 the other three are at 30.

Outside of that everything is going strong did a little LST to a few of the plants to play around with it and hopefully get some stretch. The plants are all very stocky, guessing the PH issue stunted them some. The Blueberry Kush has finally recovered, I honestly almost scrapped it as a lost cause.

Overall everything is going well. It is amazing how fast a plant can recover. The BB Kush is the back left you can tell it is a ways behind. In the middle is the Sour Diesel Haze it is hard to tell from this angle put it is the tallest with the most nodes and growth.

Another tip I learned took my PH pen to the grow shop because it was off. I figured out my problem being new to PH I just followed the instructions and put a drop of storage in the cap and closed it. Well come to find out that is not enough sometimes and does not keep the tester wet. I keep it in a jar of solution now everything is going well.

Nirvana Norther Lights. probably the second best plant right now I have been able to train it parallel to the ground all the way across. The other two I am using LST on are a little more difficult.

Thank you I am watching your thread good luck to you as well.

@budelee Do you think I would cause any damage by pruning off some of these fan leaves at the top? I stunted these plants a little and it is getting cramped under there. Just wondering if it would do more harm than good. I am at day 32 Pistils showed up on day 29 and 30.

There is a lot of growth under there and the fan leaves are getting huge on such a short plant.

Sup bro, personaly i would tuck them if possible, the tops of the plants will get plenty of light penetration even if it looks like they are shaded,i always defol from the bottom after a node is formed and has its own secondary leaves growing ,the pics didnt load so i cant see whats going on..Thats my opinion and others may see it different,i do defol but i only do the tops after the stretch has finished
