No Worries :)

The High Team are a lovely bunch of people who have been here a while and like to welcome new members and get people off on the right foot - it can all be a bit confusing and full on when you join! Not knowing quite where to post things and where to find things. :)

We do our best to make sure everyone settles in and stays happy ^_^

Goooooo HIGH TEAM! lol :d5:

Ok, I'm a douche, I screwed up last night. I don't have any fancy temp timer or any good way to adjust my temps when it goes too low or too high. I do it accordingly, well they have not been subjected to high temps since they were babies highest 93f, and not low till the other morning getting down to 64f with lights out. Well yesterday morning I turned on the lights a lil early with the on button on timer, warm things up,at night forgot I shut the timer switch part off and closed the door expecting a cold front and shut off the fan intending on turning it back on before I fell asleep, didn't happen, So not only did it not turn off for it's dark period, It got to 93f again, then even more like and ass, I opened the door to circulated the air to come back 5 mins later and it's at 72f, Grr, I hope they don't go into some kind of shock and hermie, as I mentioned before, I'm a douche. Well, if anyone actually read this crap and has some input on the temp fluctuations doing any damage, I'd like to know, Thanks...

I had heat problems of one sort or another for about 3 years :)

It's one of the biggest pains in the ass. Do I add more fans? More extraction? Fans across the lights? Different Bulbs?? Mini air conditioner?

Well i think the ideal suggestion is somewhere between 75-80f with lights on and about a 10f drop when lights are off.
600w of HPS is gonna create a bit of heat - sounds like a cool tube or air cooled hood may help if you dont have one! :)

Hey Blue, usually I don't have temp problems, they usually reside around 77-81, the first time I had the high heat I was waiting on my 6" inline for the cool tube I have, I just turned it off last night to get the temps up a lil and fell asleep, lights were supposed to shut off around 1-5 but never did cause I also forgot I turn it on manually early that morning to kinda warm things up. The problem is I have to adjust all the time instead of having a controlled environment. Now when summer comes back around I will need another fan coming up, that fan is too small for summer temps. So do you think getting up to 93f, then down to 72f so quickly won't effect them as much as I think. Also, the NL's last couple leaves growing are looking stringy, is this the preflower stretch or do you think something else? Everything else about the plant looks fine, so I think.. Thanks again. I appreciate any advice...

Day33.jpgCCday33Top.jpgNLday33.jpgWWday33.jpgDAY 33

Morning, if it's morning for you as it is me. Well, not much to update on, the NL continues to grow and is now breaking the 24" (2 ft) mark, still only showing a few pistols, but she is drinking a lot more, so hopefully she will take off and might end up with a decent yield. The CC is sitting at 14" and has only grown in height a few inches as expected, a small plant possibly due to stunting, maybe the strain since I've never grown it before, IDK, but just tying down the one side seems to have helped build better bud sites for what it had to work with, and obviously kept it from growing to much more as well, she is getting a few nice little colas started The WW is at 19.5" and just seems to be a straight pole, not much to her, again maybe part stunting and maybe part strain, however I did tie her down a lil to one side last night to help the lower half get light, just didn't seem to get there and after seeing the CC respond well I thought it couldn't hurt, next grow I am doing the same 3 strains plus a few others, but I am going to switch things around and see if there are any differences. Here's a few pics anyway, even though it's not much to look at yet. Thanks.

Just two pics today,Pic of upper view and one of the CC's lower buds. Starting to see the trichs, not much else going on. They're starting to stink somethin fierce, the CC has a lemony smell/Hazy smell, not sure, not what I expected though.

Hmm, guess my ADD is kickin in, I actually didn't wanna post other than once a week, however I find myself bored and posting every 2 days, can't really see any growth for the most part between these couple days but... oh well. The NL is 29" tall and about 30" wide, she is still only showing a few pistols, seems like she is very slow and will prob take a hell of a lot more time to finish, maybe 11 weeks. The WW and CC are smelling nice and coming along, even though they're runts. Ok, that's all for today.

Looks Great Freelivin! Mine are about in the same hight range , perhaps a lil more bushy but they dont even have that many pistols as yours yet . So i wouldnt be to worried about it , i'm sure soon they'll start fattening up soon! And i can participate in your 'ADD' i check mine practicly every time i walk by :).

Happy holiday's and a magical growth !

CCday42.jpgNLday42.2.jpgDay42.jpgWWday42.jpgDay 42, Beginning of week 7

Not much to say, the CC and WW are filling out nicely even though they are small as hell, the Nl is roughly 34" in height now and has started flowering, she is way behind (time wise) the other two in bud development but is so much larger, so it's prob going to take an extra 3-4 weeks before she's done, maybe putting it at 12-13 weeks total, hopefully she'll have a nice turnout. Nothing else to report.
