Day 49 Update with pics

After seven weeks of growth, all three plants are doing fine. The aroma from the tent has changed from "skunky" to a very pleasant floral/fruity smell. The LST'd plant looks to be at least one week ahead of the other two plants, as her buds are swelling and have more orange hairs appear on them every day. With 4 to 5 weeks to go, sugary and fat colas are forming at the top of the other two plants. This strain (White Dwarf) has been a joy to grow: they love the nutes and have a very high ratio of calyxes to leaves. The mutant plant I refer to as the "runt", is now 251/2" tall and has over 60 bud sites on her - she has 5 or 6 branches that have at least 10 bud sites on each of them, and her top cola is forming into a thick, gooey mass.

Eight weeks old today

After 56 days since germination complete, all three plants doing very well. Looking like these are going to be harvested in stages. The main part of the LST'd plant should get harvested in 21/2 to 3 weeks, while the other two plants have 4-6 weeks to go.

Thank you, Muddy! Appreciate your help in getting them to this point. It's been great fun. I may enjoy the growing as much or more than the smoking. :thumbs:

Day 63 Update

Nine weeks old today and looking good for the most part. The only disappointment so far is the top portion of the LST'd plant, where the buds appear light and airy (they haven't grown much in the last two weeks). I'm chalking that up to low soil ph. Going to harvest the top part of the LST'd plant in about 10 days (101/2 weeks), but will let the bottom portion of that plant grow on for another 2 to 3 weeks. Within a week or so of applying LST to that plant, two of the lower branches started growing like they were separate plants, with main stems shooting straight up (rapidly). The bud growth on that lower part of the plant has been very good, and will probably end up yielding more than the top portion. The other two plants are doing very well - I expect to get at an ounce or more from each one.

Day 84 Update

Twelve (12) weeks old today. Sorry I haven't posted any updates in the past few weeks, but have been very busy, travelling at times. I harvested the top portion of the LST'd plant about 10 days ago (at 101/2 weeks), which yielded a dry weight of 29 grams. Harvested all of the mutant a few days ago (at 111/2 weeks), but those buds are still drying. Below are some photos of what remains: the 2nd tallest plant (the true prize of this 1st grow) and the lower portion of the LST'd plant. Both will probably be harvested tomorrow afternoon. Also included some pics of the harvested mutant plant's buds hanging out to dry. Will definitely post a final update (in about a week) to report yield harvested (dry weight) from each of the three plants. The bottom portion of the LST'd plant dried out too much while I was out of town, so it doesn't tasted any too great when smoking, but not too bad when vaping. Beyond that, very pleased with the quality of smoke that I have sampled so far - with the best yet to come. Cheers.

Harvest pics - day 85

Harvested the remaining 11/2 plants yesterday - all of the 2nd tallest plant and the lower portion of the LST'd plant. Now all three plants have been harvested. Below are some pics from yesterday's harvest. I'll post dry weight and a smoke report in a few weeks, after drying and two weeks of curing. The mutant was taken down from hang drying yesterday, and put into mason jars. She filled five jars, and weighed 116.6 grams - I will update this weight after a couple more weeks of curing. Very pleased with this first harvest, particularly the buds harvested from the 2nd tallest plant. Cheers!
