Hello everyone I just started my first grow using the following.
Mars2 400w led
Mars hydro 2x2 tent
4 reg stone dragons
Roots organic soil

I germed the seeds on 8/13 and 3 out of the four have popped up but one is concerning me. I'm not sure if the soil is too hot for seeds but it has yellowing on the leaves and some weird white spot. Other than that everything is going pretty smooth. I should have a new fan and carbon filter soon but for now I usually keep the tent open during the day with a box fan blowing in. Anyways here are some pics.

I'm new at this so I am not going to answer but I will tell you you should ask your question in the sick plant section Here. You will get a quicker response. They will most likely ask you to take a pic in natural light. Just curious though did you feed them already? If so that spot might be from a splash of nutes.

Hey J! First, it is always better to take pics in natural light when asking for help. Hard to see what the plants look like with the red and purple hues. Second, I know nothing about roots organic soil, but most soils with nute charges are too much for a new seedling. Unless you have a starting mix for seedlings. Nothing you can do about it at this point, just grow her out. If you dont have cal/mag supplement, you will need it. LED sucks the cal/mag right out of a plant by week 3-4. Water them lite and the biggest mistake a new gardener will do is over water. 2 rules of thumb to think about...
1) lift the pot dry and remember the weight of the pot. Often times, it feels as light as air! time to water. When you do water the pot, lift it and note the weight. not time to water when the plant isnt heavy.
2) stick your index finger in the side of the pot, down in the soil to between the first and second knuckle. If soil sticks to your finger, let it go another day, before watering. If it is dry and nothing sticks, and it is lite, water it. Less is more until you get the hang of it!

Well said, Bri!
And amen, gotta take some pics in a more natural light. I've heard mixed reviews on Roots being too hot for seedlings, almost along the lines of FFOF. That was coming from photo growers, so for our delicate little autos I'd be ready for some nute burn:peace:

Thanks everyone. I haven't used any kind of nutes yet but I do have the General Organics GO box. I actually used the index finger trick today and it was dry so I gave them a small amount of water. Sorry about the pics with the light on I'll post a new one real quick but after reading the comments I'm willing to bet its the soil. I'll have to get a good seed starting mix to use before I germ anymore seeds.
