MC tent Day 60 ~~~

Damn I didn't know that I was supposed to let my plants dry out for 5 days before cutting it. I hope this doesn't ruin the taste or potency.
I watered right up til I chopped and produced very tasty and potent plants. To be clear, I watered til the end just because it never occurred to me to stop feeding my kids, I didn’t have a “plan” to stop OR keep watering. I use liquid chemical nutes from GH and had read many will flush at the end due to chem taste but I didn’t (didn’t make sense to stop feeding) and I can’t say if it’s right or wrong but I CAN tell you that about 20 people say I have the tastiest bud they’ve ever had. It’s pretty badass when your friends can’t believe you produced such tasty stinky sticky fire buds! So don’t stress man, I’m finding there’s a LOT less “supposed to” methods than people would have you believe.

I usually water right up to chop as well. I think it just goes back to better watering practices and making sure you still got your dry period. Could be wrong but I've yet to run into any sap issues.

Thanks for your words brother, that's actually my hope. that all of my friends love my weed and feel astonished at such quality for my first time growing. That would surely make me feel proud and def like a badass. Thanks for reassuring me

I plan to harvest the day after the plant would have needed watering.

At this point there is the least amount of moisture in the plant but the fan leaves are still rigid enough to make trimming easier.

Cheers

That's actually a great idea, timing the chop for the moment that they're supposed to be getting watered

Thanks Dankerson, I'm actually planning on being way more meticulous with my watering for my next run

I like to have a long slow drying period before curing so moisture at harvest isn’t a concern.

Today is day 6 of drying for the plants, and following @Dankerson harvest drying and curing method I'll be putting the plants into brown paper bags today for two days. Also my grove bags just came in today
