I took the stuff I had hanging in the wardrobe box and put it in brown paper bags. The wardrobe box actually worked pretty damn well. Nice and crisp but not too dry, hung for 4 days and will probably stay in the bags for another 4-5 days we will see. I will definitely use the box again, no smell(or very little), and easy to use, this time didnt have any hangers to use so I improvised and just used wire, but I have the hangers now so next harvest should be able to put a lot more in there. So this was off that little guy.

IMG_3528 (2).JPG

Not huge but decent, still a little fluffier than I would have wanted but I decided to chop a bit earlier than I could have due to space constraints. I weight it before I put it into the bags, will probably lose a little more weight thought they felt decently dried out. 57.62 grams off one plant. Will be interesting what the larger plants put out. As long as I don't kill them or burn them to a crisp. I will most likely not be doing these genetics again, or at least until I have a lot more under my belt. Very finicky, or just operator error. Till next time! Thanks for stopping by!

Update Day 84

The two PE girls are being flushed atm, the biggest one hairs are still sticking straight out but all the trichs are cloudy and leaves were starting to go so I started it.
IMG_3543 (2).JPG
IMG_3545 (3).JPG

The other one's trichs were the same but probably 50% of the hairs have receded.
IMG_3546 (2).JPG
IMG_3547 (2).JPG

I'll probably flush them for as long as they'll let me, though the sooner the better, the young girls need to move into the flowing tent. I just popped two babies and will need to rotate all the girls.
On another note, my fiancee and I smoked a blunt of of the PE I cut down, topped it off with some bubble hash I made of the PE trim, while watching Pineapple Express :pass:. We had a good time and smoked nice. She smokes the blunt, I smoke out of my pax :headbang:.

Update Day 48

The Sour Diesel Haze is growing up well, she is at 30 inches.
IMG_3549 (2).JPG

The white widow is stockier and has a little spot problem on a few leaves.

Here is my cheese off, the blue cheese

and the white cheese

Hopefully the next update with be chop day for the two PE ladies. Till next time!

Thanks Archie! I try to keep up on problems as they arise, since I grow in coco it lets me try and correct the problems fairly quickly. I decided to start this journal mostly for myself, to keep a log of what I grow and the problems that arise and if I was able to fix them, etc. If other people get something out of it, or just to see how a strain grows, then that's just extra groovy. I know this forum was an invaluable tool for me during my preparation and for my first grow. Have a good week!

Chop update

I chopped both of the plants, one on Tuesday night and another last night. I am now exhausted as I woke up early on Monday then had to chop Tuesday night till about 130, then again last night till around the same time. It's all good though it was for a good cause. I didn't take good chop pictures, will have to work on that on my later grows.

Ok this lady was chopped on Tuesday.

IMG_3558.JPG

Her main cola, she had several of similar size though not as big as this one.
IMG_3560.JPG

Now I know this is wet weight with a big hunkin stem but still she was pretty big.
IMG_3564.JPG

She has been hanging in the wardrobe box since late Tuesday night. Will probably see how she is either Friday night or Saturday and will either move her into brown paper bag or into my cv vault, then eventually into jars.
IMG_3568.JPG

And this is the lady chopped last night, only took one picture as I was tired and just wanted to get shit done.
IMG_3575.JPG

I will update with final weight when it's nice and dry. I had a decent amount of larfy bud, though some of it I should have kept as it was pretty dense, most of it went into my trim bag to be used to make bubble hash this Saturday. I will update how that goes this weekend.

I moved the sour diesel haze and white widow into the tent, they should have started flowering already but still seem to be wanting to grow instead.

My little babies are growing slowly, I know that's because at this point in their lives they are constructing a good root system below the surface. Will give them a few more days under the close cfl then move them down under the mars hydro300. I realized I never mentioned what lights use. I have two, the mars hydro 300 a 123 true watt light, it was in the tent I am not using due to space so is now just in the closet. It's what the SDH and WW were growing under. In my tent I have an advanced platinum p300. In both places I have hanging cfl, 6500 outside the tent, basically I designate that space for veg, and 2700 in the tent for flowering.

Welp I will update again probably on Sunday with dry weight and to see if I get a ok yield with the bubble hash, this is only the second time doing it, the first I had limited trim from one plant. This time I have a lot more, so we shall see.:baked:

Alright so dry weight update.

IMG_3591.JPG IMG_3584.JPG IMG_3589.JPG
So about 8 ounces from two plant. Plus the other two I took off the runt PE being the tots to 10 ounces from all 3 Pineapple Express. Not too shabby.

And I was able to get this after 4 hours of work
IMG_3592.JPG

The two on the right side will probably be for making edibles while the three piles on the left will be for smoking. Still not getting the blondest of quality but I am sure that problem lies with me and the way I do this. Will have to just keep learning. I also caught up on some much needed sleep So that is a positive.

Will update on the youngins later. The one has developed quiet the cal/mag issue I belive, though I've been giving an ok amount to them since they popped as I am in coco. We shall see if my feeding the extra helps with new growth. Sometimes these deficiencies can be confusing, but that was one of the reasons for starting this journal. To help me learn. Peace brothers and sisters.

Sorry for no update. Unfortunately it seems my sour diesel haze and white widow both don't seem to want to flower. They just keep growing without flowing so I've switch the lighting to a 12/12 cycle to try and trigger it. Today is day 64 with no preflowers showing. Le sigh.

In other news at least the cheese of is coming along nicely. I hope I am done with the no flowering, though I am sure it is something I have done to have two different genetics no auto. Now I will just wait.

smashing grow, lovely bit of bubble you got to.shame about the non auto auto,it can happen the odd time.alls you can do is treat it like a photo and then hope it behaves like one.
doin great so keep at it,nice job.
:pighug:

Alright sorry again for no updates. Between life happening this month and my plants not doing what I want, I haven been able to take pictures and update as I would like. I will try to get some pictures tonight and post them.

For the white widow and sour diesel haze they are at Day 79. The sour diesel haze is a bush with no flowers and I am getting close to just chopping and starting the next batch, it's just hard as she is big and so much time and energy went into her it would be a waste. I will have to decide here in the next few days. Space is an issue unfortunately.

The white widow has been nothing but problems and I will be glad if I get anything from her, if not then at least it's a learning experience. I think I must have had lock out some how by either having too much of something or a ph issue. I think she was suffering from sever calcium lockout as all the leaves that the leds hit had the same symptoms while the ones not directly being hit are still green and mostly unaffected. I do have a picture of her problem. It's not pretty.
IMG_3758.JPG

Now everything I tried just made matters worse so two nights ago I flushed it with ph water with a regular dose of cal/mag and that's it. Last night she seemed better, more perky so I hit it again last night with the same. I will resume Blume nutes tonight if she looks up to it, otherwise just the same until she looks ready. The buds are fattening up so that is a plus, if not super late.

Now the two cheeses are at Day 33 and are looking good, and the taller of the two has already started flowering. I do have a pic from a couple of days ago for the taller one.
IMG_3755.JPG
IMG_3756.JPG

The buds are getting more defined every day.

Also I bought this and have been loving it! Took it over to a friends house to break it in. Using the PE and it gets me very Stoney.
IMG_3737.JPG

I'll try to snap some pics tonight and can hopefully get back into more consistent updates. Thanks!

Alright so got some pics of the cheese ladies this morning so Day 35 here.

IMG_3767.JPG
IMG_3768.JPG

It's hard to see but this lady has just started ore flowering.

IMG_3769.JPG

This lady probably has about a week ahead of the other. Just glad this batch is not having a problem flowering.

I made the decision this morning to chop my great bushy sour diesel haze. It just refuses to flower no matter what I do. I will start my next batch this weekend. Have a good one!
