My pipe is getting restless and cranky! It needs filling. No meds for at least 90 days....yikes. Sucks living in a "dry" state.

That really sucks bro, but I guess I don't need to tell you that.

I am fortunate enough to live in the most liberal MJ state in the country (Washington).
Yea, MJ and not just MMJ are legal in CO. also. Wa MMJ laws are much liberal than CO.
For each MMJ patients/ growers in Wa., eacg patient can have 15 plants and have in their possession 24 oz. Between my wife and I, double that.

Still seems trippy to me to be able to grow right legally.

Aww MAN!! I'm jealous! If it weren't so damn cold up there I might consider moving!!! Shit, but then my kids would still be in Tx and even farther away than they are now.

Oh well, most geographic locals have there good and bad. I like how you Texans deal with real criminals though, no messing about. Except the archaic Cannabis laws that you and the rest of the Southern States still have on their books. I do believe we may be getting closer to the Feds moving Cannabis from a Schedule 1 drug to a Schedule 2. That should cause a lot more states to become more lenient, one would hope anyway.

Still looking forward to seeing you being able to drop your beans, and showing us a show.

STEP 2 - We are experiencing technical difficulties...Please Stand By...
So we're going to STEP 3!

Ok, Stick, you get your wish. Laid out 4 baggy beans in a wet paper towel today, as a start. It seems my vendors are bound and determined to drag ass, so the hell with the frame for now. I got a good week or two to get the SCROG frame together anyway. The new Cool Tube XL fixture should be here tomorrow or the next day to replace the open reflector.
The bucket has been nuted, "Zoned", and pH'd. It's holding 1400 ppm @ 5.7 pH. The room is 82 deg at 41% RH.

I've decided to try some split style Gro Dan Macroplugs (rockwool rooting plugs) instead of the standard blocks to see how well they'll work with seedlings. Once the beans crack I'll "plug" them into perlite cups until they show roots The plugs in this case are really redundant to the perlite cups, but I want to see how well they work versus cubes. Hell, they were cheap. The plug will give me something a little more solid to place in the Grow Rocks than just the seedling from the perlite. BTW, This will be the last time I use those Rocks as they get smaller and smaller with each time you handle them. So, I bought 11 lbs. of hydroton instead for the next time or in case these rocks wear down too fast and material needs to be added.

Good to hear you finally got to drop your beans today. Sweet! That is how I germ my beans also, always works great for me.

A gal that I know brought over a bunch of hydro gear, she wanted me to use, plus a couple of 1000 watt hoods and ballast. Looked hard at doing hydro, but realized I am a die hard dirt dude. (TLO supersoil).
But, I still want to learn hydro, so again anxious to watch your grow, and learn from you as you grow.

I ordered a fair amount of grow gear this morning for my new Photo flowering room. The room is coming together faster than I thought it would, just got done priming the ceiling, so that I can put a top coat of paint on tomorrow and I will put Panda Film on the walls.

Getting pretty excited about my new endeavor as you are.

Well, day 3 on the germ' and no joy yet! Seeds may not have been mature enough. Good color and markings, but a bit small.
Guess I'll wait some more... "Bored"

Got the PVC fittings for the SCROG and will probably wait til next weekend to assemble the frame. Also got the new Cool Tube XL fixture in, assembled, and hung. Man, that ones WAY bigger than the other and much better at directing the light where it needs to be.

1-1/2" SCROG parts - 3 & 4 way corners, slide-Ts for screen frame and root ball hammock. I'll get the 12 regular T's with the pipe locally. The mounting caps look a bit weak, the tabs will probably end up broken, so I'll just "through bolt" with a big washer in the center.

So close yet .......
I had the same thing happen to me with some of the last Auto beans that I germed. Ended up putting them in glass of water after the third day of being in paper towels . All beans germed within 36 hours from in water. For me, in the past, if I did not have a bean not germinate with 3 days, they didn't all. Until I threw them in water.

I have found in my very limited experience that size does not matter at all with MJ seeds. Some of the bigger plants I've grown were from small beans.

What I'm trying to figure is it can be 100% humidity and raining outside and only 25% inside! Might have to buy a humidifier or maybe a little potpourri pot would do it. Thing looks like a tiny crock pot but you put dry potpourri in it with water (and "cook" it!!).

Welcome!

Just some bagseed BS to get my DWC hydro feet wet. Want to get one under my belt before I go for the Stone Dragons. If they live up to my expectations, I'm gonna seed some out and cycle 'em for my meds (lupus and hyperactive insomnia). Starting with a single bucket for the bagseed SCROG then to the 6 position DWC SOG tubs for the SD's from then on.

Got 2 cracked hoping for 3 and 4 shortly.
