But you never want your pots (soaked)
What I meant by pre watering dry soil was just enough to get it moist.
And soaking the beans I meant in solo cups of water. Can also soak them in paper towels etc.
I hope you didnt saturate the pots too heavily. And apologies if I worded something to have you inclined to do that.
No cause for alarm yet. You dont have drowning babies so no love lost.
But be very cautious with the seedlings and gnats. The larvae will kill a seedling fast.
One time I had a seedling die. I picked it out. The tap root started moving and I thought I was nuts. And damn gnat larvae made a home INSIDE the tap and ate the root from the inside.
You may consider planting the beans in rooter pods for a few days and keep them in a starter dome for a few days until you get a good battle plan and the gnats knocked down
