I just got back from Tractor Supply, and ran across Burpee Organic Potting Mix, OMRI cert., Anyone have any experience with it ?
I wish I'd taken a picture of the label, it LOOKED GOOD, but not much info on the website

Actually I used that for my Jalapenos and watermelons this summer and it seems to be doing pretty good. I imagine you can use it for cannabis if you make a fertilizer tea. Just start out light and work your way up to half recommended dose.

is that the burpee formulated with coco-? i've seen it on amazon, but have never tried it, so can't comment on it, sorry however, i'd recommend adding in sum perlite jus fer good meazure...alwayz a good thing ppp

Yeah, from Amazon, under "questions" The potting mix is made from coconut coir, compost, perlite and fertilizer derived from composted poultry manure, hydrolyzed feather meal and sulfate of potash , the NPK is .12-.12-.12 ph'ed to about 6.5

soundz worthy to me i mean, composted crap from any animal is uzually pretty good shit ...um, 'cept the human animal o' course ppp

You can grow huge plants with straight up human urine 3 parts water to one part urine I know it sounds freaky but where I grew up a dairy farmer did that he grew amazing big plants. Believe it or not lol

alright, enough "thinking" (obsessing) and just do it, the seeds , or beans right ? are going to soak overnight.
I have decided on 2 gal fabric pots, I do think it might be good to add a second light, my tent is 2x4, the light is the mars eco 120 ,
seems like adding another, smaller light might give a more complete coverage especially into bloom ?

Welcome Jay!! I currently use and love coco, but if I were ever to use soil again I would use FoxFarms Happy Frog. Love that stuff and used it my first few grows.

Thanks, I'll probably try Fox Farms on the next grow, had already gotten what I normally use with my potted plants, nature's own mix and compost,
and I did get Kellogg's potting mix which is certified organic, I'll add some perlite too.

One of my grows was with strawberry fields only because they were out of happy frog, it worked great also.
I had a few ph issues, but good grow.
