New Grower First grow ever

Nice, I’m dropping a Double Grape bean soon. I didn’t realize it had tested so potent. How is yours progressing?
I started them a week ago (five beans) under a new grow setup. I'm going to reverse one and make seeds with two others. I already designated two for "regular" harvesting so will have a lot to say about them in a few months. In the meantime they're still in diapers.

So, I need some help from you growers who has been confronted to F. gnats (F stands for "freaking")...
Everything was going so well, until this nightmare.

I tried neem oil, but not so much because I don't want my flowers to taste odd... poor result.
I tried nematodes, can't see any result.

I've read about mosquito dunks ; can someone point me to a link to purchase in Europe (France) ?
Or a brand that you know is safe and efficient, and how do you use it ?

Also, I'm trying to keep the plants as dry as possible, maybe this could kill the little bastards and their larvae...
In your experience, what would be the maximum duration without watering them, given the fact that they don't show any sign of drooping from under watering ?

Last watering was 4 days ago, 5 days for the royal dwarf which seems to keep water in the pot longer than the other 3.

Thank you.

(I hope tagging people is OK)

I've only ever had them once or twice as I'm generally a coco grower but you could just feel the weight of the pot so you know before its gets to light also I will tag a couple who may be able to help @hope2grow @arty zan @THE BEAR @The Bedroom Gardener UK

I can point out that I used potassium liquid soap, you can find It in places that are related to plants and gardening.I watered less and less. Also, sprayed on surface potassium soap that when dry It becomes K or potassium nute for you plant

I've read that adding nematodes to the top layer can eliminate the eggs, but I haven't tried it yet.

What worked best for me were the sticky sheet traps combined with managing any excess water from feeding.

I have only had them once, theu are easy to spot as the prefer to walk than fly!
Just crawling around being dicks!
Becareful when reading about getting rid of pests, especially in forums, there is a fair bit of advice out there, which is purely anecdotal and often told that "a friend said"!
We need proof, science and results or no dice.

Here is what I compiled today, it is a very very long post but I have been through ,ost preventions and cures but there are a couple of plant basesd preventatives I still need to verify.
I have added some fors and againsts in some of the sections to give a more complete over view.

Oh you mentioned that already, I forgot.
Will have to try, thanks.

I did exactly that, add nematodes and letting the soil dry.
I don't know what is the delay for the worms to act, hope not for too long...
Thanks for the input.
